I will have a good rummage shortly if I do then I will get a factory amp. I seen the toyota cd changer loom In boot and behind the strero. Wonder how the cars speakers work without the amp compleating the circuit

Prob not much the one on yahoo auctions cheap. Gonna see if the loom under my carpet later if not gonna order a retro sony amp to match up with my other sony gear.

Thats good! Glad you started with the simple things Just think could of cost you a lot of money and had the same problem. if I was you I would get a race spec rocker and reduce the crank case pressure might free some bhp doing that

Well thats my view anyway I think your running to much pressure in the cylinder head making it burn oil out the catch can. If you wanna strip apart the block and spend loads first go for it. But in my view start with the simple cheaper things and go from there. Good compression and ok results from leak down would make me look at alternative solutions. A cheap catch can prob doesnt help. Dont some people run one line to catch can and one to vent?

Sounds like you need to reconfigure your breather set up. Little things before a mayor rebuild just sounds like your building up to much crankcase pressure
