  1. Thanks for the positive comments guys. It's DDay tomorrow, they are coming to assess it in the afternoon. Im so hoping they repair it now as I cant see a single Glanza that I could happly replace it with, well except one but that's all and its probably sold knowing my luck. Will update with the outcome when I get it.
  2. Yeah my car won't be running in this, it will either be wrote off or in for repairs. Fully gutted, will still try and attend though.
  3. As above this did get involved in a crash. Someone pulled out on me and I had no choice but to bin it into them, didnt really have chance to even brake. This is just after it happened, you can see the debris behind the car where we hit! Didn't look too bad till I got it home a whipped the bumper off Other party accepted responsibilty so just waiting for assor to come take a look at it. Fingers crossed they repair it! Ive also whipped most bits i can off it incase they write it off so they could go onto a new starbo.
  4. Press 'options' towards the top right just above the 'Post #1' and change it to standard, your on outline view.
  5. The ONLY noticable difference whlist it is still on a car is that it DOESN'T have any numbers cast onto it like the stock manifold has across the first runner.
  6. OEM for me if your sticking with the stock setup. The point in grooved discs is to allow gas/vapour between the pad and the disc to escape, can you really push the stock setup to those extreme's? I dont think so, way i see it less grooves, more surface area to brake with. I dont even think most proper performance brake setup's use grooves do Willwoods and such come with grooved disks? When I had grooved they made a horrible noise when braking, cracked from where the grooves started and i dont think they look any good when rust gets in all the grooves. I find the OEM replacements a much bette
  7. What actuator are you running, syptoms of a tired one imo.
  8. Keep my spot reserved, payment on the 31st as per PM Steve.
  9. This guide is for a Sportif to Paseo, not SR to Paseo......
  10. A standard Jap plate is 13 x 6.5 inch.
  11. I was going to say camskill, got my full rear brake set up from a few week back.
  12. Bahhhh mine started working when I tried another game, seems Microsoft know which xbox's won't work via xbox live and send you an email letting you know. Its also games that havnt been released that will be unreadable. If you dont get one of these I doubt you will get anything.
  13. Sweet, going to update mine now and see if it breaks, how fun!
  14. Example of how the trd unit looks bent to the right from behind.....
  15. Ask for a pic from above, or from directly behind, trd unit is bent towards the driver. Thats stock in the pics as the rubber bushings are pressed into the base, trd unit has metal washers that go under the unit and are loose, no rubber bushings are pressed into the base at all.
  16. Ive had these and didnt rate them, there just blueprint disks and the company that sells them machines the grooves in there and then (I picked mine up, the guys who machine them are sound). I warped the disks pretty easily and ended up with massive cracks in them. I found the bite from cold with yellow stuff pretty poor and didnt like them for daily driving, they worked well once when hammering it then the whole braking system seems to overheat on a Starlet. That's just my experience but i tend to be very aggressive on the brakes, Craig_SR on here had a set for ages and they lasted him well
  17. I find a good branded set of stardard disks much better than these cheap disks that companies groove. Im currently running stock replacment disks by Brembo and there bang on, better then the grooved ones I had beofre and dont make stupid noises.
  18. If I'm coming down the m1 south at 27 do I go left or right at the roundabout to find the layby?
  19. I will meet you guys at j27 seen as ill be passing anyway lol.
  20. Exedy paddle clutches are poor. Mine started slipping after only a year, pulled it out and it had loads of meat left on it. Just replaced it with a new standard clutch has been fine since. Still dont know what went wrong with it. Sorry this post is of no help at all.
  21. anything from 38mm to 55mm will clamp onto it.
  22. IM still looking to attned this, can we get a time for defo, also which side to you come into the mfn places far as I can see on google maps there are 2 entrances?
  23. My rear end develops a clunk from the rear arb once a year. I have to grease up the 2 rubber bushings under the main rear beam on the arb to stop it. It does sound like a proper metal on metal clunk when it happen's I kept thinking it was my exhaust till I tried geasing it up. I also like to give it a lick of paint while its off. For the sake of half an hour its worth ago and it worked for me.
