Anyone who looking at 3 - 4 hours travel and not sure about defo do it. It's more than just a starbo meet, its a full day out with plenty of banter, free beverages and a nice comfy room with sofas and starbos on rollers. Also Steve, can you find out if we can run with bonnets up this time? I didnt like running with it down, if anything goes wrong first place your going to notice is the bay. Plus it makes it a lot more interesting watching the engine at full chat.

I'd skip the hybrid all together. 190 to 200 Bhp can be pulled from a stock turbo, which has a much more driveable power range imo.

I'd say the airbag story is legit. You can punch a starlet wheel and set the airbag off, seen it done and heard it happen a few times. Don't forget its early 90s tecnology not the complex stuff we have in todays cars. Looking at it though it seems dodgy and any starlet that seems dodgy usually ends up being a shitter seen plenty come and go on these boards. Also I don't think anyone would let you take the sump off a car your buying. I know I certainly wouldn't so don't be supprised if he's not cool with that.

Hmmm as I thought wasn't expecting too from a 20 quid gauge, looks the part and that's what I wanted. You running water temp too Si? Mines running about 85 degrees which is what I was expecting?

As title, what does your exhaust temperate gauge sit at? Just installed mine, its a cheap apexi copy exhaust probe in the 3rd runner on the manifold. 4efte engine and its sitting at 300 degrees at idle and upto 500 degrees on cruise. Is this normal? For some reason I was expecting it to be at 900 degrees. So what's everyone else getting?

Imo it only looks good with the OEM rear lip or an aftermarket rear bumper. I think it looks out of place with a stock rear Glanza bumper.

Becarful what you get becasue there double threaded studs rather than bolts for the manifold and decat.
