  1. I made such a mistake buying a MK3, I should have bought a MK1. If I wasn't living at home I would love to take this project off your hands Please don't scrap it though!
  2. Yeah I wasn't loving the body kit, each to their own.
  3. Question is, did you get that ECU. Was it a shit map that caused the engine to fail prematurely? Don't want to go forged for the same thing to happen...
  4. I hear you, but now you're running a B16 Monster, is weight really an issue? Fantastic car though, you must be so pleased with it.
  5. Ha, I don't think he's a big drinker. Some tools for the garage maybe. To be fair I have slaved over his garden helping him sort that out. So we should be square lol
  6. Well my Dad's had a look at it and he's not bothered. He is sure he can fix it no worries. He is the botched repair, someone tried to hide it with filler as well...cheers. He isn't too bothered about the sills either, he's sure he'll be able to patch it up and repair it, he's confident that the rest of the sills okay.
  7. Wow this is stunning Rob! Did you run Glass with your Fibre glass boot? Is that even okay! Love the bonnet catches you're running on the boot as well, was that necessary?
  8. To be honest, my brothers roof has this dent and my mates Evo. Unless you're going for the concourse look, it's no where near as bad as rusty arches or dents in the side.
  9. But this is the beauty of wrapping cars right, Sefton's had it for three years and now he wants a change, he can do that quite easily. So if you fancy it you should go for it, if in a year you want to go back, it should be a simple process. Bit of graft, or a little bit of money, but as long as you enjoyment out of it why not! Personally I would have it OEM but try it.
  10. That is sickening! I wanted to get the K20 Coil Packs from them as well as a Race Spec Manifold but ummm NAH YOU'RE ALRIGHT! Seriously if you're going to mess around with people like that then you really are shooting yourself in the foot. Even TD hasn't got the best reputation, sod that I'll do it myself.
  11. I don't know where I'd be without these sorts of forums that's for sure!
  12. Lovely write up. Although I was under the impression most of us undertook the work ourselves, I thought that was the idea of a project car
  13. So it's genuine MK1'S or don't bother.
  14. Does anyone know if the EP80 headlights are the same for the EP82? Whilst I do love the Quad Light, I must admit I do prefer the Square light fronts. My issue is that the Headlights for the quads are Glass, and that is nice as the plastics tend to glaze over. I was wondering if you could get EP80 headlights in Glass to fit the 82? Anyone done this?
  15. I'm sure there is if you trace the wiring diagram
  16. There is another chap who comes to Gloucester regularly in his Glanza. But is not from Gloucester. Drives up from London regularly. Reckons his car is 320Bhp 5E. But I'm not convinced.
  17. Reminds me of a PS2 game I used to play way back when All the cars were the same size so most were crushed up
  18. Yeah I am interested in this as well.
  19. Really? Alright mate give me the number. I might want to speak to them. How much did you pay?
  20. Ahh okay. There is a lass driving a UK spec round our way lol. Always see her razzing about the place
  21. Yeah cheers Ollie. The car doesn't actually move, so I have no choice but to do it myself. I will buy a welder if it comes to it lmao! But I will hit you up. Worse case scenario I get it towed there!
  22. No, but it IS one less thing to concern themselves about. Like I've been witness to some appalling driving. I just think that keeping it simple is the way to go.
  23. Have you got a link to those sills you bought bud?
  24. Mk2 fiestas I hear. I am not handy with a welder so I am going to have to ask my dad see if he can tackle it. It is literally one after another with this car!
