  1. It looks as though a repair was done at some point, badly I might add! And to make matters worse both sills have completely rotten through with a huge dent in the near side sill.
  2. If it's the one I'm thinking of, owned by a lady, it's not a Glanza. Pretty sure it's UK spec glanza rep.
  3. I will admit, I wouldn't have an Auto Skyline. I wouldn't knock an auto, I do think more people should default to auto.
  4. I personally would never want an auto, but I don't see why more people don't drive Autos. Half the people on the road today don't seem capable of driving, let along worrying about doing the gears. My old dear isn't exactly interested in cars so what does she benefit from a manual. Most people treat cars like tools, so why are we reluctant to buy more autos.
  5. I got a Civic Half rad from JPerformance £60 works a treat, EP82 but shouldn't be m=too different.
  6. Damn I launched mine in the skip To be fair aftermarket ones are cheap enough.
  7. That's some cool cars you've had. That MR2 looks lovely. I like the Civic as well
  8. You joke, but it wouldn't be that big of a job to do! All the bits you require are bits that people have removed from their cars...
  9. It's still taxed and MOT'd
  10. Anyone know the best place to buy one new from? I have found this http://m.buycarparts.co.uk/lauber/342843 But it's not clear whether this is for RHD or not?
  11. A guy on my forum reckons his 6 is 380 on a map and intake

    Short shifter

I know right? The Hyperlink adapters really shorten the shift, and they're relatively accessible and cheap. But a proper short shifter??? There is a tutorial on how to mod your shifter on a Glanza on TGTT and probably here.
  13. Sounds like they are not worth your money? In this day in age, it's a five minute job to get another quote with someone else!
  14. Yeah that's looking stunning! Sorry to hear about being made redundant, that sucks!
  15. Easier to turbo these engines, and more performance. I really don't know why people want to gush over ITB when the power is minimal and the sound is nothing compared to spool. Each to their own, but for the money I'd stick with a low PSI CT9 on an N/A over ITB. Although given Sparky's history of posts I expect he is more testing the water rather than venturing down this route.
  16. Yeah it's a lovely motor. Wish mine was as nice as that.
  17. Brother has got a Blitz and it's savage. WEPR Hybrid TD04, however it is far from perfect fueling. Can't see how it could be baring in mind those PnPs are for CT9. But 20k miles later engine still strong. From what I hear Mines is the best.
  18. I always thought they did. Are you sure it's the original box?
  19. I'm pretty sure the 5 speeds are stronger, hence why the RS will be 5 Speed. Pretty sure.
  20. I take it you just removed the pump and looped the system.
  21. Yeah but they are both 20 year old cars with unknown history. Matthews Evo may have just a rebuild before leaving Japan. The ratios are definitely not GSR. The RS may have been thrashed in Japan and was hanging before it landed in the UK. Matthew had a White GSR before that. And he was constantly telling me the box was about to let go, but this car was absolute dog and had much more miles on the clock. We saw it last year at a meet still a dog, but still going.
  22. Again my friend has had his box fettled with we suspect. But I cannot iterate enough how much he drives his 5 like he stole it. He absolutely munches the box. If this were a Pulsar it would have been dead on the way home. I am not exaggerating when I say how much he trashes the gearbox, flatout gear changes barely lifting from the throttle. Cold, Warm, rolling or standing still. No problems as of yet. However the evo four RS transfer box has died, he doesn't drive that. That is owned by a mature owner and is completely standard. So I've seen both sides.
