No, don't do that.
The same thing happened to my glanza a few years back, i took the engine out, rebuilt it, and put it back in and i couldn't get the light out.
I tired to clear the code with bridging two connections on the diagnostics plug, ( i can't remember what the connections where, it could be the standard TC1+ E1 connection but its been a few years since.) turning the ignition on and pumping the brake peddle alot within 5 seconds.
If this doesn't work and you cannot get rid, don't take the bulb out, as an mot test requires the light to come on and then go out.
