Best ways to push power out of the 4efe

Re: that list Dan, do you really need different injectors? I thought it was all but impossible to max out the stock one without a turbo. -
Oem Glanza front speakers FREE! Just cover postage

They were Kenwoods and they're holding up a treat -
I'm honestly amazed that for all the times I've been near po po at night they've never pulled me for it. Should probably bang an inline resistor into the light feed to dim it a bit or something.

Cheers buddy That's my iPhone failing to white balance properly with the brightest of blues just out of frame on the right lol. Wish I'd thought of checking the shape of the bulb before I bought them tbh, these aren't great but they shuld come good with a bit of work. I went to change that one for a 16-LED SMD today but I'd bought 42mm, so that SMD plus another are going in the footwells as ambient lighting. I've got a beast of a replacement coming for it now, 42 LEDs on a sticky backed board with a festoon adaptor, so the whole diffusor dome will be internally lit. The OEM one really is shit, aye.

Oh hells yeah, especially when you get the top 4 or 5 topics in a section asking literally the same question.

Long time no update. Things have started moving a bit now, got a Glanza inlet, TB and TPS on the way, so those should be on by the middle of February when I've got a week off work and uni to fit them. Current project is the complete overhaul of the interior. Took her for a pro valeting last week so the interior's almost showroom fresh again. Finally got around to ditching the godawful DIY stereo blanking plate the previous owner had left me with* and gone back to the OEM double din brackets, giving me enough room to get a cheap cupholder/free box combo in there. Love me some eBay specials (* Bastard had used security Torx screws to fit it, £5 for a set of bits that I'll probably never use again) Also been working through the interior light bulbs, accidentally bought the wrong size festoon SMD for the dome light so I'm going to repurpose the two I bought into footwell lights using a pair of universal festoon holders and a bit of bodged wiring. Changed the heater control bulbs, but there really aren't enough bulbs in there for the look I want so I've got a couple more holders coming, bit of drill and file action and I'll have those in. And today I did the T10s in the clocks, which was nice since 3 of the 4 have been dead since I bought the car. Amazing the difference it makes when you can actually see more than just your engine temp on the clocks at night. So here's the current state of my interior: You can see how much dimmer the heater controls are. Got a red bulb coming for the hot/cold control as well, since the red window won't let the blue light through hardly at all. The tacho is literally the brightest thing I've ever seen. More candlepower than the sun. So happy with the way this looks. Todo list as it currently stands. Change remaining light bulbs, going for a (nearly) complete blue look since my tacho and stereo are both blue, thought I'd go with it. DIY some footwell lights, I plan to tag the wiring onto the back of the ciggy lighter and earth it next to the driver's door. Fit Glanza inlet etc. Considering amber corners. Opinions? Thinking it might look wank on a red starbo. I'll get some daylight piccys up if the weather's not shite tomorrow, she's a lot cleaner on the outside now than she was in first post.

I don't know. I think the more questions that are asked, wherever they come from, add to the community pool of knowledge. Searching for something and finding the same question was answered 2 years ago by someone who never posted again beats the hell out of waiting for an answer in my eyes.

Free bump to throw in that I've got one of these on my other car, small thing but really useful. Didn't know they did one for an EP.
-
Jesus buddy, glad you both made it out okay. Hope he gets some points out of it as well.

Got some T3s coming next week, will follow up and confirm when they get here
-
Cheers, T3 it is. Not clear in the picture but definitely smaller than a T5, with a wider screw-in base.
-
Does anyone know what kind of bulb this is? Came from inside the rear window demister switch. Pretty sure it's a neowedge, but not 100%.
-
Because it stays in the barrel, and as it dries it congeals with all the dirt and crap it's picked up. Enough times and the whole lock will be so lagged in shite that it won't turn at all. Edit: great article on the subject here https://www.locksonline.co.uk/community/2012/09/locksonline-top-tips-lubricating-locks/

http://id-workz.co.uk/toyota/starlet/starlet-uk-spec-ep91/brakes Specific to the model so everything on there will fit. Also to guys at id-workz are amazing if you have questions or anything.

Truly a gent and a pleasure to deal with. Can't recommend highly enough.
-
WD40 will help short term but make it worse long term. Get a pencil and colour in your key, the graphite lubes up the lock without damaging it.

Fucking women, man.

Cool, so I need the coilpack, leads, crank sensor and wire to run it into the loom?
-
FrozenJakalope. Also on the one. I'll add you when I get home mate
-
Cheers for the info Dan, big help Cheers. I might already have one, but if it falls through I'll be in touch.
-
Ah cool, that clears up a lot. Hoping it's from a coilpack engine, I wouldn't mind ditching the dizzy at all, regardless of the effort to reward ratio. It would just be an excuse to bury myself in my car for a day or two lol. Cheers for the answer. Josh
