  1. Awesome, yes! I don't really know the brizzle area too well, would Cribs Causeway be a good place to meet? I'll be doing the A30->M5 so if you know of anywhere near you I can stop wherever Jimmy, hope you get something sorted mate, the more the merrier.
  2. Think the rear is the same as the passenger side. I remember reading somewhere that someone had rotated the rear to the front and put a new one on rear, since it's hardly ever used. Saves a fiver each time you change them.
  3. Just ordered a GT gearbox from JDM-EP, so that'll be going on next week with the FTE inlet mani
  4. Could you get a pic of the drivers seat from the side please? It's hard to see how bad the angle is from that pic
  5. Just done some testing with an LED and two wires. Ignition power seems to be top left as you look at the face of the plug, Earth seems to be the bottom right, and the light feed seems to be one in from right on the top. The fan came on a couple of times when I was playing with it, I'd hazard a guess that it was bridging top left and bottom left, with the earth connected via the LED. I could be ass-backwards wrong on that though. Might give you a steer, but bare in mind that Im literally basing this off whether a light bulb comes on or not. Edit: I've got about 45 minutes before I need to ge
  6. Dammit Nick, I thought you'd be a cert
  7. Is anyone coming from South of Bristol? I'll be coming up from Cornwall, would be good if there's anyone from Devon going that I could meet up with
  8. Ahhhh, I gotcha. Sorry, wasn't following. Ive just been out and checked and you're right on the type of bulb, so that should do it.
  9. Wouldn't spinning the bulb 180 have the same effect?
  10. Assuming the parcel shelf lights are the same in all UK models, the back of the socket looks like this I really can't think of anything else either. Might be worth getting a multimeter on there to see what the voltage coming through it is. If there's a dodgy connection somewhere around there, might leech off a few volts and take it below the critical voltage for the LED. I'd be surprised, because you'd probably need to lose a significant amount of power for that, so the globe would be really dim, but still might be worth a look.
  11. In the words of my wifey, "I can't imagine anything more awkward than sitting in the cinema watching porn."
  12. Good plan, the sleeper look is definitely a goodun. You're right, I'm thinking of the UK spec clocks which have fuel on the left. I guess as long as you can see the needle it's okay? Does say a bit about the last owner though.
  13. Loops pretty mint mate, what's your plans for it? Love the priorities of the person who converted it. Cover half the fuel gauge with a boost gauge.
  14. Have you tried rotating the bulb 180 and reinserting?
  15. Is that km or miles? Good going either way, if km that's still the best part of 170k miles.
  16. Mayyyte, got a sick as fuck Corsa 1.2 onli got 185k on it mad as fuck lolllllll wanna swop for your gt? Whatsapp me lol xx
  17. Couldn't find a mention of a specific model needed. Did come across this that might be useful to you though http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/62174-splitters-from-other-cars-can-you-add-to-the-list/?fromsearch=1 That looks sick.
  18. You can shove one from a Renault Laguna on there, quick scan of the eBay you can pick up a whole bumper with splitter attached for £20-£50. Bit of tigerseal to attach it and you're sweet. With a spare bumper for a shitty French hatchback as a bonus!
  19. Granted not auto, or turbo for that matter, but I'm pushing 130k with no mechanical issues at all. I think they'll more or less go forever with proper servicing and maintenance.
