  1. Welcome mate that AE92 is a beaut, she'll fly with a 2ZZ in her. You're definitely in the right place for 4E help, it's disgusting how much some of the guys and girls on here know about these engines.
  2. Fuck, really? I did a bit of freelance web design when I was 20 or so and I thought Dreamweaver was archaic back then, let alone now. I always did it the proper way, notepad++, Photoshop for assets and writing stylesheets by hand. Related side question, how's HTML5 to work with? Been thinking of doing it on the side when I start uni in September but haven't done anything related in about 5-6 years.
  3. Ah, sorry man. That's not the same shape as the one I've got
  4. Expensive considering they're just seats though.
  5. Got a picture mate? I've got a wiring loom off a 98 4E Rolla here for cutting up as and when needed but I don't know if the plugs the same.
  6. Yeah, that's the one. Though you're more likely to see one looking like this Also, I love the look on the drivers face, really looks like he's enjoying his car hahaha.
  7. Because I'd rather not pay for a retest if I can help it.
  8. Bumping this so I find it easy later in the week
  9. Ahh, it's not about miles per gallon, it's about fun per gallon. Yeah, just did a headcount in Asda car park as I went past, 9 cars, 3 of them were golfs and 2 were polos. The rest was a straight Audi and seat split. Pretty much sums Cornwall up that.
  10. Aye, there's only one other I know of in Cornwall down Tintagel way owned by a 60-something woman. Gets lonely down here haha., only the mark 4 golfs to keep me company. Wish I could've seen your RX though, huge soft spot for those. Cheers I really love it down here, not looking forward to the uni move in September.
  11. That's me mate, I have the pleasure of working there
  12. I was just adjusting the handbrake on the Starbo in prep for her MOT in a couple of weeks. Adjust the brake inside the drum, put everything back together and went to move it down the drive to where there's more of a slope to test it and it wouldn't move. I thought I might've over tightened it for a second, but when it was jacked up I could spin the wheel by hand easily. 5 minutes of working the handbrake and trying to pull away with and without engine assistance and I realised I hadn't actually taken the chocks from in front of the wheels. My neighbour across the road was pissing herself in
  13. Fraid not, there's a guide though http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/65688-clock-conversion-starlet-na-to-starlet-sr-cluster/#entry1107111
  14. Ask them for a breakdown of the fees they're levying. They're obliged to provide it. I'd then take that to your local citizens advice and ask their opinion, Also, did they post your policy documents to you? If so, your cooling off period starts from the date you received them which gives you 14 days to cancel with no punitive charges. ALSO if you paid the premium upfront, the admin fee shouldn't be more than £50 or so as there's no finance agreement in place for them to be losing money on. They're relying on you not knowing or bothering to fight them on it, so be difficult. Make them wor
  15. Cable tied?! I've driven some sketchy shit in my time but fuuuuuck.
  16. For the sake of argument, if there were 2 averagely-weighted people in there of around 67kg each and they crashed at 60, there would be the equivalent of 370kg trying to be held back by that one 2-inch section of wood.
  17. Is it possible to run an AFR gauge off the stock lambda sensor? Or would I need a wideband?
  18. ^ If Toyota had yours lying around somewhere, so to speak, for a couple years unregistered, DVLA wouldn't retrospectively register it.
  19. Saw a flash of an EP82 rear end as it turned off Fernhill onto Tower Rd yesterday, never seen one down here before. Don't suppose it was anyone on here?
  20. ^^ you won't get a better offer than that if you live to be 500
