  1. me too John! yeah the graph shouldn't be far away mate, im back home now. if i get chance tomorrow i will call round jdm dyno and get him to print me one off. theres still a bit of work left for him to do on the car yet, and theres some local drag days coming up soon so you wont have to wait long! the dates are 31st March - 1st April 19th May - Sunday 20th May the car has another 70-80 odd bhp since the last one, so hopefully there should be room for improvement!
  2. it will be fine mate! more than 324bhp has been ran through them already. mines still in 2wd "mode" yet haha.
  3. Thanks guys, I'm heading back home today after been in Lancaster all week. Hopefully I will get through for a vid of it on the dyno and post the graph up.
  4. What parts you on about shorty? Not that much Is different. I got all the bushes for the rear arb a while back and they were cheap as chips. I think Toyota parts are very reasonable, some odd stuff is silly but most I find is ok.
  5. It's been on the dyno last night and this morning and its made 324bhp and 300ftlbs I'm not sure if he's finished tweaking it yet or not. I've not seen it yet as I've been at Lancaster all week.
  6. im sure ive seen a build thread of an rb26 into a kp!
  7. i dont think anything was done about the rear arbs
  8. awesome! love these cars, just a shame it doesnt have the sir alloys.
  9. you heard wrong. well over 300bhp has been ran through them without issues.
  10. I would have thought they should be popular. People are always asking for rails and how to fit recaros
  11. I would keep an eye on that crank sensor bracket, not the best idea welding onto the sump as the metal is very thin. I like the sound of those turbos!
  12. that headwork will help but if your wanting that sort of power ditch the emb. if you do go for one of these bigger turbos and run boost of 2 bar or more the stock ignition system will not cope.
  13. im pretty sure the sera never got it. it came on the cynos and the tercel ive checked the part diagrams many times. getting it to work should be no problem for the dta s80 ecu, its has loads of outputs for all sorts of extras.
  14. haha cheers guys how can you have missed me ive been here forever lol. there should be some more progress on the car now. i needed a new map sensor but thats sorted now. i dont know about on track my mate is trying to get me signed up for one not far away. i prefer just drive like a knob on the road with no regard for the highway code haha (joking) as for shows im not sure, its hard for me to get to them as i dont get many weekends off and i struggle to get days off. i should be at jap show but i will be in my other starlet i think.
  15. you will be needing headwork and some decent cams or your going to have to use a massive turbo with buckets of lag. if your planning on running big boost you will need to be running a decent ignition system coil pack, cop ect. probably 4age studs too. what standalone do you have?
  16. Just adjust the duty cycle starting off low, until you get the boost you want to run. Asuming your car is setup fueling wise for it. Then have a play with the gain settings if it spikes knock it back a bit.
  17. good find, this should make it a bit easier to understand ep82 http://translate.goo...F37116%2F342457 and for the micra owners http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.megazip.ru%2Fru%2Fauto%2Ftoyota%2Fview%2F373%2F3390
  18. i bet lorry drivers shit there pants when they see these three bad boys in convoy!! shot guns at the ready!
  19. what 60 foot did it get its rapid off the line!!
  20. It will be controlled by the ecu but it will still need a solenoid to operate it.
  21. hahaa nice work mate!! that didnt take long! td04l is great fun!
  22. 22215-11110 is the number i think, double check at the dealer. should only be a few quid
  23. so easy to fit and use i must have fitted 4 or 5 of the blitz ones. the id ones have a much better menu system than the other ones. remember to select wether you have and external waste gate or actuator on the menu.
  24. well not much of an update as i need to get hold of a connector for a ep3 tps sensor before much more can be done. heres my inlet i will be using its the duel runner acis one with an adapter plate made up to fit a 62mm civic type r throttle body
  25. Couldn't be easier to setup, I'm sure if you google them the manual will come up as one of the searches. I found when on the dyno running it in the manual mode instead of auto brought the boost in sooner.
