How much for the complete engine and loom, ecu? I wouldn't need the box. -
a guy from work bumped in mike in Carlisle a few months ago he said he was actually a decent bloke and had a chat with him for a bit.

EP85 aftermarket seat rail on auctions
Bean replied to zebedee's topic in 4WD Starlet Knowledge Base
ive not been on the forums much for a while as ive not touched the 85 for ages now really, and ive bought a house and all that sort of stuff... But dont bother getting stuff from japan unless youve buckets of cash to throw about just get one welded up. i bought the drivers side recaro rail from japan and honestly i think it cost me £220 quid! i very nearly bought both sides too! it is a nice rail though and has a nice handle on to slide it lol -

does anyone even sell the wilwoods with tm been closed?

I think my Iat sensor was from a rover k series. I'm pretty sure If you want sequencial injection a cam sensor will be needed. My distributor is completely gone. There's no need to spend a fortune on fancy cop. I know a guy running 580bhp in a corsa with the stock vauxhall coilpack. So that's what I got for mine. I've the s80 unit.

To fit the dta in a starlet you don't have to make a new engine loom. You can make a plug and play harness from cutting the plug out of a stock ecu. Obviously a few parts of the loom will need ran seperate. Depends how you want to do it

5e no contest!!!

Future build EP85 Turbo Rallycar...
Bean replied to Noel Kelleher's topic in 4WD Starlet Knowledge Base
on the road mine spins up the front a bit in second when it comes on boost in the dry. running semi slicks on the fronts helped get a bit more grip. with the short gearing 324bhp its a bit of a sling shot through the gears! -
that looks easy fixed its a transistor isnt it. look at the writing stamped on it or if you cant see look at the one next to it and google it and search ebay, rs electronics, maplin ect to order one then just solder it in.

ok mate will do. not sure if i will be in my starlet but i will keep an eye out for ya! any plans to turbo the na?

Oh yeah them bubbles! A guy at work used to keep his cossy in one of those. I've never seen one myself.

Barrow not been there since i was a kid. I'm a process worker in a paper factory currently on nights. I run a big machine built in the late 70s in England so I'm surprised it still works!
-
If you made sure the garage is pretty air tight and well sealed you could always run a dehumidifier now and again to dry it out in there. My mate does this with his gt4
-
theres a good few vids of this on youtube. its a weapon!
-
i think if i had my box out again i would def put a gt 1st gear in. might be worth thinking about.
-
so long as im not moving house i might be able to make the 26th. not sure if it would be in a starlet though!

How to install an race spec Inlet Manifold tutorial?!
Bean replied to HiReN's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
A few things will probably need modified. My mate had to move the heater water hoses a bit, extend some wiring for sensors, and adjust where his oil dip stick sat. It wasn't a straight forward swap over for the stock one. -
its not just holding the penny shut you need to bother about. its when the things welded the heat can warp the housing or penny causing it not to seal.
