i got mixed up its a vf28 not vf23. (we did put a vf23 on it once though lol) heres the graph. you can see its a little rich to keep the temps down. when we put a td04l on it before the vf28 it made 210bhp at 1 bar. this is a good dyno no silly numbers. the car pulls really hard and with the cusco mz plated diff its just foot to the floor through the corners and it drags it round at silly speeds! its shown 165ish on the clocks most times its out haha.

My mate has a stock 4e vf23 running 1.09 bar a racetech inlet and big throttle body. It made 252bhp.

Fit it and try it out on a dyno. There's never really been any before and after proof with any aftermarket inlets that have been made. So worth a try imo since you already have it.

If the ecu light came on check for fault codes that might point you in the right direction.

i tried an mr2 one on my gt and it wouldnt work. i think it was too small im sure i even tried dremeling it to make it fit but no luck.

i dont know tbh. i always post up when the drag racing is on at kirkbride (theres another in sept) but no one ever turns up. get your self up if you fancy it.

ive ran iridiums for years but ive heard of a few people who have had the ends break down and come off causing bad damage

im in cumbria. theres not many up here maybe 6-7 at most in the county but hardly see them. the best meets are def the jap ones at the trafford centre- krispy kremes!

323bhp hks ssqv fitted on a flange welded onto the ic pipe. if i wasnt running the hks it would be a tial one.

yeah it was a beast alright! it was savage when the boost came in, it was all or nothing lol. i wish i could have kept it.

the newer evo turbos are twin scroll the earlier ones arent. my old white car ran an evo 1-3 td05h 16g with a very early wepr kit this was years ago now. at a bar it made 210bhp but i sorted a few issues out and im sure it ran slightly more, it was quite laggy but once it was on boost it was a weapon lol. not the best quality graph but it was 2006

Helix paddle mine never bothered at 324bhp 300ftlbs on a ep85. Not done many miles but a good few drag runs and dyno runs! It's light too not a stiff pedal at all. I've had a few clutches and helix is really nice.

My car made 252 bhp on the emu at just over 1 bar I think it was. On the dta with exact same boost I'm sure it made 280 odd easily.

next time i see the car i will. its stashed in his garage which isnt at his house. its only been out twice this year i think!

I'm sure my mates gt has the non smoker tray option with the sticker on it. It doesn't come out the garage much now though. So no chance of a pic any time soon
