what happened to this 2 tone mk1 beast? did it get fixed and back on the track/road?

theres miles better turbos availalbe than a bb converted td05. look at the sc range of turbos scooby clinc does on the subaru forums theres nothing but good stuff been said about them sc turbos

yep thats the sausage! 1.8 diesel ct9 powered running 1.5 bar lol. he said it went ok for what it is. he said it needs an intercooler though which doesnt suprise me haha. yeah thats a beast i think it runs an 800cc diesel generator engine. im sure at one point he had a turbod lawn mower running a full standalone dta ecu lol. he also did a turbo mini moto which he then got a great big turbo off a scania wagon and made a burning chamber to turn it into a gas turbine and propell it along!! the guy is nuts!

well me and mini valva went up to jdm to collect his throttle body as it needed some machining to fit the tps properly. theres a young lad that sometimes messes with his own cars there. anyway i seen him working on it so went over for a crack. heres what he had under the bonet. i couldnt believe it when he said it was running a toyota ct9 turbo. i asked him what boost it runs and he said its running 1.5 bar lol. he said he runs it on what ever he can find keroseen, chip pan oil, hydraulic oil anything at all! anyway who can tell me what car it is??

haha i doubt it lol. cant have been much building going on engine bay looks almost stock. the pics are a bit shit i always thought this could look pretty good.

i always wondered where this went. i remember someone putting pics up of it at the docks and it was all smashed up. i think it could look well with some decent wheels on it and a little work.

is no one going to tell the guy there not self mapping ecus as far as im aware there is no such thing. they may adjust slightly (as will a stock ecu) but there not self mapping.

one thing though guys what if you we moved and go somewhere else then after we have gone other people turn up and no ones there, how will they know where to go?

ive as good as already got the certificate mate haha, yeah hopefully it should be fine. the main things it failed on last time was the rear arb bushes but there all new now, and the emissions as the tps wasnt setup. yeah it is long over due mate. still got lots to do though. hopefully it should make it too penrith on friday for the cwc mini meet. i managed to keep the disc shield i bent them a bit and cut a small piece out of it. hopefully it should be ok. you always disappear when theres work to be done on the starlet!

where that rolling road at? sounds like a good offer so long as he knows his stuff. was it that engine on ebay? i bought a 4efte engine off a guy a few years ago for 51 quid lol, i met him at kendal actually. its still sat in the garage. its a runner apparently just a bit smokey. always handy to have a spare kicking about.

yeah hopefully i will make the penrith meet, not sure if i will be in this or not. see how it goes. my exhaust is sitting really low now as the downpipe is slightly different on this kit, so i need to get the whole exhaust modified really so its tooked up into the car like it should be not hanging down. ive been on the hunt for a mint gt but still not found one. one will come up eventually hopefully. Well since the mot is booked for tuesday 2pm i thought i better pull my finger out and get the car sorted so its road worthy and then the running in can begin! before, old and crusty after, nice and fresh still got a few more jobs to do, bleed brakes, fit clutch hose and bleed, bleed power steering, connect wideband and stock lamba just little bits and pieces really.

i would rather have a stock one, looks poo!
