i always wondered where this went. i remember someone putting pics up of it at the docks and it was all smashed up. i think it could look well with some decent wheels on it and a little work.

is no one going to tell the guy there not self mapping ecus as far as im aware there is no such thing. they may adjust slightly (as will a stock ecu) but there not self mapping.

ive as good as already got the certificate mate haha, yeah hopefully it should be fine. the main things it failed on last time was the rear arb bushes but there all new now, and the emissions as the tps wasnt setup. yeah it is long over due mate. still got lots to do though. hopefully it should make it too penrith on friday for the cwc mini meet. i managed to keep the disc shield i bent them a bit and cut a small piece out of it. hopefully it should be ok. you always disappear when theres work to be done on the starlet!

i think i remember krissyb saying about he blocked off the breather for the charcoal filter and it caused him problems with his fuel system when he went for mapping so i wouldn't block it of as the pressure will have no where to go.

the vf34 has the same exhaust housing and compressor as the vf30 but its roller bearing, it will make exactly the same power as the 30 but spool faster as its roller bearing. the vf34 is basically a newer version of the vf30 with a roller bearing. the vf35 will make slightly less top end than the 34 but spool faster even though it uses divided thrust bearings as the exhaust side is smaller. i have a vf35 on mine, on a 5e a vf35 i think it should make around 320bhp atf maybe a bit more.

hmm think i will stick with the stock oil cap then! lol
