I can’t vouch for starlets specifically but normally this issue on most cars is down to the heater resistor pack/card. Normally located under the dash

As title, looking to tidy ep82 engine bay so after ep91 coolant and washer bottles many thanks

Because it’s mounted on the back of the radiator it should be pulling air/heat out of the radiator and into the engine bay if the fan was mounted on the front of radiator you’d want it pushed the heat through and into engine bay

You’d be able to tell if it’s blowing or pulling by feeling the air around it while turned on

You can swap wires around and it’ll spin opposite way. but based on fact it’s on rear of radiator it should be pulling/sucking heat out of the radiator

Ive replaced and fitted the following: - magnecor Ht leads -new rotor arm -new dizzy cap -second hand coil just waiting on a boost hose so I can go drive and test for misfires! If it’s still missing then I’m stuck for ideas

Hey, my bonnet cable and catch are removed (bonnet pins fitted) so I’ve got second hand ones to fit. Could anyone supply pictures on how the cable is routed? Best way to fit? Assuming there’s only one way it’ll go due to the design of the cable having a metal stop on it cheers

Ended up buying -red magnecor leads -fuel filter -dizzy cap -rotar arm all from id works so hopefully that sorts my problem because if not I’m pretty stuck

How are the ngk blue leads? As that’s what’s fitted to car atm, seem to be around £60-65

Hey guys, had a search online and lots of different opinions so thought I’d make a topic. not had the car long and only insured it last week to start using but has quite a bad misfire. misfire seems to happen under normal driving off boost and sometimes when coming into boost. At around 2500rpm-3000rpm. Constant misfire that causes car to jump about until it passes it. Seems worse at lower speeds. ive changed plugs, my leads are ngk blue leads, worth changing these? compression test shows 160-170 across all 4 unplugging 02 sensor makes car seem a lot smoother to drive in general but the same misfire still persists other items I need I change?

Is anyone else using these sort of trackers? How are they finding them?

Looking good, mk3 should break quite easily. Plenty of people after parts I’ve noticed atm. Even I’m after a quad light grill and standard bumper
