the wheel are Rota D1 Drift, so have a silly deep offset with a nice deep lip aswell cheers for the links bud, my mate is also a mr2 specialist hense one of the reasons why i got one, but i will have a nosey through the shop and see what neat bits i can get payed £4800 which in my eyes is a bargain for what i got Handeling wise it's immense, cusco coilovers with cross bracing, plus the 8"rear wheels, it takes a bit to get the back out, but when it does goes it goes lmao! the kick from the stock turbo is silly! 1.2bar with like zero lag plus an uprated clutch and fide

if you'v taken out the two bolts you may have moved the timming on the dizzy slightly which can mean it's running advanced or retarded. you want to make sure if you'v put it all back to gether that the timming is back to what it was before. the dizzy cap itself doesnt realy matter as long as you get all the right leads going into the right dizzy ports.

sounds good mate, you wont be disappointed with the likes of a jam etc ecu... only problem is it will take along time for you to source one and if one does pop up you have to be dam quick as they will sell in the same day! good luck mate

what colour is the smoke? if it's white it will just be condensation which is normal if the smoke is blue , it's burning oil which could mean valve stem seals are on the way out.

if on a budget fcd route will be cheaper by far... second hand you can pick up a hks/jam fcd for £40-50 FSE rrfpr for £50 easy second hand wire it in yourself, dont need no looms etc but might get a bit messy. Rolling road session £50-100 to check and tweek rrfpr setting. Total £200-250 (without safc, but i got offered one for £50) i dont like the fcd/rrfpr route at all but if on a budget you cant beat that price and a standalone like jam etc wont come anywere near as cheap as that. you got all the info so just go with what you think is best fro

Glanza_cl replied to StarletRick's topic in Other Motors Progress Blogs
sweet, are they two pots? what kind of modification are needed to get them calipers to fit? or is it a fairly straight forward swap? -
ah haven't popped my head in here for a while.... nice work el naglebadgerio, shame about all the shit that's happened but all negatives lead to a positive rear carpet looks nice, just finishes things of alot better, more smooth less stripped race look.

you here things like 'hitting a brick wall' etc but it's not all that bad. just a bit like a bad misfire. you will be revving your car then all of a sudden it will jolt or judder, thats fuel cut it will most likely throw up an error code but nothing to worry about, it goes when the ignition gets turned off. the only time i have hit fuel cut is on the motor way, when i was doing some heavy revving in 4th as it's a long ratio gear. it mostly happens on motor ways when the turbo has a long time to spool and can over boost or creep, or on a cold night when the air is super dence.
