Update After the geo and Nurburgring pre checks i had the 30th April off to do the last couple of bits and to pack the car ready for the trip. European travel kit, Tools, oils etc Thursday 1st may set off at 4am with a friend and drove to krissybs and then on to dover to meet the others and set off on the ferry for the 2 hour jouney to Dunkirk then the drive will start to Auderath where we are staying for the next 4nights which is 11km from the nurburgring. Weather was on and off all the way rain, windy and sunshine. These are the cars in the rest of group we came out with And a few pics of the starlets together at the hotel After off loading the cars kris wanted to go down for a lap so i tagged along and got a refresher of the track. Next day came and it was raining heavy on and off so went to a viewing point to watch some track action and on arrival a M3 had crashed After watching a bit of track time i decided to go and buy some tack time so puchased 4 laps for now And went out and done my 1st lap in the rain and wet as much as it was a slow lap it got me to get the feel of the car and the track But a fair few accidents on the track at the same time. Little pic that someone got of me As the weather was crap that day and did eventually dry up it got very busy so we just chilled out around the hotel and helped a mate out on his car sorting a bearing problem. Then saturday came and got up early to get down to the ring and get on before the mad rush. the track was a bit damp but was able to push the car a little further but half way round there was a 3 car accident but still managed to get round and enjoyed the lap. Once we had pulled in the track became shut due to the emergency phone lines had gone down and ended up being shut for the rest of the day which was a shame as the weather turned out nice and warm so we hung about the nurburgring complex for most of the day. Got some pics of the car outside the complex Inside the complex from the nissan showroom they had a cool model of the ring built in to the floor. Also from the window we could watch the single seaters on the gp circuit Also a handfull of pics of cars which were down at the ring and the complex alot more pics on my fb who know me Also got to see this come off the track on my last day which was great too see Sunday came round last day at the ring and was up early once again got out to the car and we had a thick frost but thought oh well lets head down there and get a lap in and what a enjoyable lap which ended up being dry and a little damp but was able to push the car a little more. After the lap had a little nose about at what else was down there then shortly headed back to the hotel to meet the others and head to a place called cockham for the afternoon which was a great drive, great roads and great views. And a picture from the top of the hill down Later that afternoon went back down to the ring with a couple of the guys to do some more laps Little convy pics When we arrived it was packed. Waited a little bit then went out to do my last lap which i was able to really push the car as the track was warm and tyres got to a nice temp and had my best lap yet. Pulled in and purchased another lap as was feeling the car and just wanted to get out there again + also took someone out who has great experience of the nurburgring who wanted to see what a 317bhp 1.3 was like as he was yet to beleive. Well on this lap i pushed the car a tad more and set a 9.43 lap which was a real bonus i will load the video up from the gopro at some point. I was very happy with the outcome of my laps and got some great experiance and tips from friends as this was my 1st ever track day experiance. As for the car it performed very well and could not fault it. Only a little thing like rubbing of the front arch plastics i just need to sort. Pics of the car out on track Monday came and was up packing the car up ready for the journey home which was a long drive. Pics waiting for the ferry to come in. Got home that night and put her in the garage ready to be pushed put in the morning for a wash down due to all the dead bugs etc After given the car a good clean i treated it to its nurburgring sticker which i purchased but didnt want to stick it on out there just incase i jinxed it lol! Already to go to Japfest on saturday which was a good day unfortantly was not on the ukso but was asked to go on the PEC trade stand due to the work Rob Barnard put into the engine and PEC supplied development to. Couple of pics which ive pinched as i did not take any myself

UPDATE Well on Sunday night I went to collect my car from RW-Developments with the new 2.5 Vband exhaust middle to back section and back box , oil cooler bracket, air filter hard pipe, custom air filter shroud which encloses the filter and gets full air flow from the grill. I am very pleased with the work Deans done as usual. Driving it back I notice the change in the car with the new exhaust and filter but was taking it easy till mappings done. Well yesterday came 23/4/2014 it was time to go back to surrey rolling road for the final mapping session and see if the exhaust and filter have made a difference. Arrived at surrey rolling road and managed to get straight on the dyno and start mapping car was on the dyno for a while going through every aspect of the map making sure fuelling and ignition is spot on. done the final power runs and come out with a figure at 1.6bar of boost 317BHP and 292ftlb, which I am over the moon with that sort of torque figure. Big Thanks to Simon Roe (Jolly Green Monster) highly recommend this guy for mapping. After it came off the dyno we decided to go out on the road and go for a drive to make sure everythings good on the road and was spot on and got to say it pulls very hard. Unfortunately the drive home was in the rain so did not get to have a good drive of it but Im sure its going to be very fun. Ive decided after driving the car back from Deans and to dyno that the exhaust is a little on the loud side and is going to have a problem on track so I am arranging to go back to Deans when back from Nurburgring to see what we can do. Next up to get the geo done on the car on Saturday and get the rest of the car prepped ready for heading out to Germany next Thursday morning for 4days at the ring.
