  1. Bought new silicone boost pipes for the ebc and tight fixings so they dont fly off again! Also went for some CT9 goodness and came back Joz
  2. No worries mate It is obviously your extremely short intake route that is causing the trouble as they so often do. You won't know yourself once you get it sorted, nothing to worry about then. Joz
  3. I see, so it can't be your ebc solenoid then. The main case of overboost is a sudden vacuum leak so check any other pipes etc. There is a type of fuel cut where the eml doesnt turn on, first stage of it if you like, but you get the same sensation. When the eml comes on as well you could say it is the most severe form of it, not to worry you or anything as it does happen. This is probably if the boost spike was more than usual. Fuelcut is annoying especially when you are running a peak of 0.8 bar, it WILL hit as you have found out on cooler nights. Best way is to get an emanage ultimate on the
  4. Check your boost pipes going from your ebc solenoid to either the actuator or the turbo and make sure they are all tight and secure. You may also have a different vacuum leak somewhere that may only occur on full foot plant as 3rd gear gives the strongest push. Mine recently popped off the turbo and caused an overboost situation to 1.4/1.5 bar on CT9. It will basically boost freely and not hold to any given pressure = overboost. I have an emanage (mapped to 1bar) and in the case of overboost it will kill all timing and run very rich so it won't lean out at that moment. This safeguard basical
  5. Good stuff I traded in ALL my electric axes lately and going pure acoustic. Just the Lag now and just invested in a Roland AC60 woot >< Joz
  6. I'd say both will be 100% as long as in good condition I'm now running 1bar emu mapped and my 4EFE box is still going strong, it does have a Quaife which improves it a bit more but its more than capable. The ratios are slightly shorter, not that you would notice a huge difference, however your top speed is definitely lower not that you would need one for a rapid acceleration/response ep. For the record I will eventually upgrade to a rebuilt fte box with aftermarket diff just to see the difference. Not tried a TD04 setup with it yet but we'll see what the box and clutch have to say about tha
  7. So intriguing man, whatever it is I'm sure it will rock. Have an awesome time at Rob & Amy's wedding bro. In the meantime I'll be learning some scales lol! Joz
  8. What car parts can be some horrendously awesome and expensive that they need installments? I keep thinking you are buying another EP but thats most unlikely. I got no deets from Jay on the phone so looking forward to 'finding' out what these mystery parts are dude. Glad to know you will be getting your horn sorted, the £100 bosskit just wasnt feasible was it lol! Joz
  9. I'd go for Levin twin pots or a similar upgrade from the standard calipers as no matter what discs and pads you put on it, they won't give you the extra stopping power you will need. and benefit from for the extra power/torque/speed the TD04 is going to produce. Do note that these types of calipers are used/2nd hand and more often than not need rebuilding and servicing which adds to the cost, plus brake disc modifications and longer wheel studs/spacers etc if gathering the parts separately. I use the levin twins myself and for day to day they are very efficient and a proper upgrade, on the t
  10. Please read these recent updates on the situation from the JRC if you have the time, really hits the message home. Updates Although they have received many donations, at least we know we have done our part with this small contribution. Joz
  11. This will be the last week for paypal donations folks ;) Feel free to donate to the cause by other means if it is more convenient and if you have already done so, have some uksc kudos. All monies received will be sent via paypal directly to the Japanese Red Cross on Monday 16th May 2011. Thank you Joz

  13. Cutoff date for this fundraiser is Mon 16th May We appreciate everyone who has donated to the cause, not just via UKSC. We also acknowledge it has been difficult with so many past fundraisers for charity and events but it has made all the difference into what and where we are today. Your donations and help will ALWAYS be appreciated and have made a difference to UKSC and charities involved. Thank you Joz
  14. Just perved at it, like most people do Too shagged after work to bother going for a boost, I hate weekends lol! Joz
  15. @Shaun - That is very awesome of you mate, nice one @DarkJackal - Thanks for bringing that to my attention, all fixed now and ready to go. Very much appreciated gents! Joz
  16. The response has been VERY poor for this current fund raising campaign so far with hardly any feedback at all or interest from members, traders and admin. I feel because of this, it is a little pointless to offer a JDM goodie bag at present as there are so few names to draw from which is a true shame. I am going to officially extend the donation period for another two weeks to see if we can get a better response. The reason there has been no poll is because we have decided the donation will go straight to the Japanese Red Cross society (right at the heart of it) in two weeks time on Mon 16th
  17. Glad to see an update Jason All the best with your home hunting dude. 19. Additional feedback for Jason for his custom gearknobs. Very awesome service and professionally made to my specifications (from solid piece of billet) which is pretty special. Showed me progress throughout the process to ensure everything was spot on. Great communication and great packaging/prompt delivery. If you are after a custom/bespoke gearknob solution look no further. Great aftersales too, if you need any additional work or servicing Jason will get it sorted. Very highly recommended! Will take pics when I have an update. Cheers Jason! Joz

  22. You have until the end of the week to rectify this problem Fudge or you will be suspended from selling on here. I have already sent you a pm with no reply as of yet. Please contact the person in question you owe the goods to and sort it out asap or you WILL be labelled a swindler. This comment in your profile does you no favours: Thrif, paid £300 for a turbo through ebay. Never recieved it. Was told he went into hospital and was seriously ill but was signing on to here everyday. He robs someone then gets another number to try and blag it up!! sad sad person!! STAY AWAY!!! Joz
  23. Awesome news bro! You can almost taste it Joz
  24. Thats impulse buying unfortunately Once you get yours fitted all will be forgotten @Jack - Once you know the prices of the sensors themselves, you see how much good value it is when you get a full kit including the sensors. Very nice gauges nonetheless. Joz
