I just got back from my hols Ste dude and that is easily the most horrific looking accident I've seen in a long time. Your head may still be spinning but at least its not in a million pieces on the road. Right or wrong I'm really glad you're still here with us dude. You should be at the Pearl Gates by now... If you need someone to talk to feel free to pm or msn any of us, we all have time for you bud. Cars? Fuck em, most importantly look after No.1 mate, yourself. R.I.P CRX, Ste live on thankfully and go to a few casinos. Joz

★ Project 赤い脈動 EP 九一 ★ 14/06/12 - Interior and Exterior Update! ★
Jozinobi replied to Jozinobi's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
Due to the weather there will defo be no wheel refurb until after the new year lol same goes with fitting the new uniroyals ;) This gives me more time to decide on what colour/finish/design to do on the Rays. Will post up my in-depth research later As for the naughty update, it involves ringing the insurance so wish me luck. Hope the snow pisses off soon, as soon as I got the car sorted, the big freeze appears! ;) Joz -
In other words as long as its not absolutely bogging it will be fine Normal road dirt is expected as you have to journey to the place to get your test. Joz
-
Even I'll admit that a GT feels lighter and racier/raw than an EP91 = shifts If I didn't already invest in my bodywork/chassis so much I'd create a SuperRedII GT hands down. My EP91 makes it up to me with its refinements Joz
-
Cheers for keeping us updated on your recovery bro. Its good to hear you are on the mend, 'what ifs' are part and parcel of life, you should not blame yourself and just keep looking forward now Its a relief that you and others are not seriously injured. Have you ever thought about a GT at all? Change of scenery plus the insurance quotes may be better. Happy hunting whatever you wish to go for! Joz
-
Can't believe this has happened to you and your pride and joy today Liam bro Its very painful to hear and see considering how far your project has come... With the weather as it is, the risk was always there for all of us. The most important thing is that your person is OK and Im hoping you get everything sorted nice 'n' easy. I'm hoping that you will return with an even sicker EP project further down the line once you are back on your feet, then at least you can start fresh. Although that is surely at the back of your mind I wish you the very best. Take car bro. Joz

Some great advice from Phil there. We are all feeling the 'quick freeze' everywhere and seriously, only go out in the car if its absolutely necessary. Any refurbs will have to wait til Spring or until the white stuff fecks off Stay safe all and enjoy the festive period for all the right reasons! Joz

Please make the effort to search our technical section under 'Exterior Design'. Typing in 'splitter' will yield the results you seek. This topic has been covered a number of times before and does not need repeated Kind Regards Joz

The parts alone are almost worth that. Defo ask for more pics including the bay and the arches etc. I'm also in co.down but can't even get the EP outta the drive lol. Joz
-
All I can say is that cage looks ill Joel I'll be in touch after xmas for further arrangements Keep up the progress. Joz
-
Please search this section as the n/a splitter discussion has been covered many times. Cheers Joz

Supermods also have access to the UKSC matrix Joz

Only way to get those bits a bit cheaper would be to chip in for a container Dan. New bodywork is definitely bottom of my list as the 98 spec already works so well. I think the Varis would work much better with wider fenders, toms spoiler and different bonnet. If only it was easy as Gran Turismo to chop and change eh Its hard being stuck in the middle of owning a Glanza but wanting another one. Pretty sure you will come up with a good plan tho bud, keep the faith. Joz
-
Spraying the car a different colour is an option once I get hold of a complete kit Dan. Im still concentrating on getting the EP to a decent operating spec so its a far cry away. Don't worry full Toms is not gonna happen, its like winning the lottery or sleeping with a harem of AV Idols. But if you check Hyper Revs the TOMs is the ultimate! I guess I'll have to dabble in some Varis ^^ Ooohhh Red Varis ;) with a touch of Toms = Stonker Joz

Hurry up Dan, soon as I find a full toms kit, its going on Joz

I just do the dusting and cleaning around here Joz

Rob_bower's 242 bhp SR - Refresh and fueling upgrades.

Nice work Rob ;) Very unique touches with the Hyper Revs idea. Clockwork Orange cage would be awesome Joz -
You made it sound like Judge Dredd/2000AD with the lower class citizens Phil Its not about who knows more than who but the simple and true fact that all dedicated EPs and owners are equally appreciated here on UKSC. Everyone is different and everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion, this reflects in the direction and all the neat touches of their projects, myself included. I love these cars simply for their pure quirkyness and obscurity in the category in which they fall upon and theres no doubting they are cult status as there are so many awesome parts still available for them both n/a and turbo. They say possessions never make a person but Im pretty sure some of us would be a little hollow without our EPrides and joy. Me and Phil and many others spent quite a few years building up the n/a's potential and were always unafraid to try new things. It was very enjoyable and also a very valuable learning experience albeit expensive. Respect to all those still in the game. Its certainly nothing to be looked down upon. Its all about the cars and the community at the end of the day so its up to everyone to raise the bar and keep UKSC flying high. However no matter how much we were against it, the FTE conversion was always the next logical progression and that was for the better to keep our projects alive and most importantly increase our tuning potential. So just remember you are not in Kansas anymore, this is UKSC where everybody sticks together. If you think otherwise then perhaps you need to spend more time on here and enjoy the place Joz

Right here goes Cheers for all the kind comments on the EP and thanks Jay for uploading the pics. She is actually a lil dirty in the photos as I've only just washed her today. Its something about Jay's Garage that gives EPs that little extra added magical shine! The radiator is almost 'three times' as thick as the standard n/a rad and shares the same mounting points, it really is a mystery jdm item As for the WEPR, it is THE answer to "What is the best FMIC available?" hands down. The reverse scoop was my idea and is intended to work with my Rays wheel nuts and levin calipers which are the same colour. If you check my rocker cover it is also the same colour. I had it colour coded before but wanted something different this time. From a side view and cockpit view it looks really mad but front on, yea a little meh. You'll have to trust me on this one My thoughts are slap bang in the middle of team clean and jdm random slag so please forgive my moment of madness ;) Cheers Phil for the headsup, the only reason I like the quick turnaround is that I don't want to leave the car with them too long. I'll chat to them and get the lowdown next week. Joz -
Liam bro, in all seriousness hold out a bit longer. You will 100% regret it for one moments madness. She CAN be and WILL be fixed. Keep the faith! Joz
