  1. Supermods also have access to the UKSC matrix Joz
  2. Only way to get those bits a bit cheaper would be to chip in for a container Dan. New bodywork is definitely bottom of my list as the 98 spec already works so well. I think the Varis would work much better with wider fenders, toms spoiler and different bonnet. If only it was easy as Gran Turismo to chop and change eh Its hard being stuck in the middle of owning a Glanza but wanting another one. Pretty sure you will come up with a good plan tho bud, keep the faith. Joz
  3. Spraying the car a different colour is an option once I get hold of a complete kit Dan. Im still concentrating on getting the EP to a decent operating spec so its a far cry away. Don't worry full Toms is not gonna happen, its like winning the lottery or sleeping with a harem of AV Idols. But if you check Hyper Revs the TOMs is the ultimate! I guess I'll have to dabble in some Varis ^^ Ooohhh Red Varis ;) with a touch of Toms = Stonker Joz
  4. Hurry up Dan, soon as I find a full toms kit, its going on Joz
  5. I just do the dusting and cleaning around here Joz
  6. Nice work Rob ;) Very unique touches with the Hyper Revs idea. Clockwork Orange cage would be awesome Joz
  7. You made it sound like Judge Dredd/2000AD with the lower class citizens Phil Its not about who knows more than who but the simple and true fact that all dedicated EPs and owners are equally appreciated here on UKSC. Everyone is different and everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion, this reflects in the direction and all the neat touches of their projects, myself included. I love these cars simply for their pure quirkyness and obscurity in the category in which they fall upon and theres no doubting they are cult status as there are so many awesome parts still available for them b
  8. Nice to see some serious progress there Iddy Won't be too long now til she is back on the road. Joz
  9. Right here goes Cheers for all the kind comments on the EP and thanks Jay for uploading the pics. She is actually a lil dirty in the photos as I've only just washed her today. Its something about Jay's Garage that gives EPs that little extra added magical shine! The radiator is almost 'three times' as thick as the standard n/a rad and shares the same mounting points, it really is a mystery jdm item As for the WEPR, it is THE answer to "What is the best FMIC available?" hands down. The reverse scoop was my idea and is intended to work with my Rays wheel nuts and levin calipers which are
  10. Liam bro, in all seriousness hold out a bit longer. You will 100% regret it for one moments madness. She CAN be and WILL be fixed. Keep the faith! Joz
  11. At this rate Joe, the next turbo setup. Im a 55min drive, 5min ferry then further 10min drive assuming I make the ferry on time lol. Worth every minute. Joz
  12. Glad you like the update lads, pics coming soon @Id - So much for keeping the cat in the bag Can't wait bro! @Joel - I've been sitting in your seats for so long I'm not used to the Recaros lol plus they are now too wide for me They are spot on mate, nothing can ever be perfect but they are a good height, nice and tight and most importantly I can now put my seatbelt in! In all seriousness thanks very much dude to you and Al and hope you enjoy your 98 interior. Could you please ask him if he'd be up for installing something for me after xmas? Cheers Joz
  13. ★ Progress Update - WEPR Fmic Fitted & Other Goodness ★ The car progressed further on Monday, huge thanks to Jay re-installing the newly railed Evo Recaros and most importantly installing the WEPR Fmic which is a work of pipeart. Mild bumper modifications did have to be made (she is pretty tight) but I am very impressed with the outcome both lookswise and performance wise. All I did was the cleaning and being overly enthusiastic with the brake cleaner, whoops! Funky reverse scoop was also fitted, colour coding is for losers, JDM ftw! Another mystery ?JDM? part was also lurking in Jay's Ga
  14. I'd only do it if you are going to respray the bonnet to smooth the holes over. Just filling them in and touching them up will look really awful. Joz
  15. Yes they arrived this morning Id Joz
  16. Thats balls dude. If it was only the crank that gone at least it could be polished (like mine) but with a warped block its a nogo. Before all else fails have a look at member Thorpy's block he has for sale, it looks mint. Joz
  17. I've already mentioned what is needed above Joz
  18. Back to the PS2 then... Im actually playing PSONE rpgs at the moment so Im not in a rush to get it lol! Joz
  19. The standard 5EFE Paseo exhaust/manifold is exactly the same size as the starlet one bar some different mounting positions as it is a different car underneath. The 5EFE engine block is 10mm taller however the difference it makes to manifold fitment is minimal. The uprated OBX mainfold is 2" and it will fit the engine side of your starlet but not the exhaust side as it is 2", however it can easily be made to fit with either tapered welding or getting a full 2" system to mate it to, like my old Fujitsubo system. The downpipe which comes with it does not line up directly in the standard postion
  20. You are quite right Even if there was a full system available (4EFTE engine has TRD exhausts available) it be probably more than the Blitz Realize. Most top parts often cost left nuts but so worth it if you love your project. Joz
  21. There are the Blitz realize systems and also 2nd hand systems from yahoo auctions japan. An uprated exhaust manifold will also unleash a little more power and change the power band of your car. My old Fujitsubo Legalis R n/a system Left - OBX 5EFE 4-2-1 manifold (eBay) Right - Hotshot 4-1 manifold (Very rare, made in USA and discontinued) Joz
  22. Not many of us have experience with the C140 as all our boxes are 5 speed (both turbo and non turbo) I use a 4EFE 5 Speed gearbox (under 50k) in my 4EFTE conversion with uprated ATB differential and it gives the car slightly quicker acceleration but does give lower top end as Driver stated. Its running fine on a stage 1 modified setup (ported mani, decat, exhaust, actuator, fmic, 0.8bar). I had the diff installed when my car was still 4EFE so I decided to use this gearbox in the meantime. It is starting to get a little temperamental (harder to get into) in 2nd gear and reverse but I put that
  23. It updated later on to 4 tyres lol Arriving tomorrow! Joz
  24. Cheers Ryan I'm gonna leave them bare for now. Would rather the £ went towards powder coating my rims. Joz
