  1. Sheer Madness I love it! The drawings and comments are pure WTF? The modern VanGogh of eBay adverts. Joz
  2. Check out this topic for the vids Blowby My catch can smokes half as much as that and it doesn't bubble oil. I'll also be replacing my pcv valve. Joz
  3. Im going through the same process mate, it seems to be early signs of CT9 oil seals on their way out. If you are concerned about your engine internals do a leakdown or compression test. Good consistent readings will tell you everything is fine with your piston rings. Valve stem oil seals can also be the cause of the smoke. CT9s all have a shelf life and they will eventually start to show early signs of seal failure especially with the increased boost levels that we all put them through. The blue smoke is from oil seeping out of the turbo's seals and getting burnt in the exhaust system. Im n
  4. Its certainly more raw and lively Dan As with anything you seem to develop a heavier right foot lol. Wilwoods is just finding someone who sells them, fancy a set of bells as well. Will take some pics soon of whats done so far. Can't wait until everthing is fitted. Thanks for your support. Joz
  5. Rick thanks for your kind words mate Also welcome to see you back in the EP scene and on UKSC. Joz
  6. Hey Dan Just some small add ons really. Go my ultimate fitted and mapped by Chris last week for CT9b@1bar and it has given the car far better/more urgent acceleration and punch. At Chris's recommendation I also got hold of a decent used Blitz Dual EBC Type R for less spooling time which he also fitted, it certainly shows. CT9 is at its limits so Im saving up for the next forced induction addiction. Debating between racetech TD04L kit and TD12. One of the twin pot calipers is sticking so I see it as a good excuse to invest in some new brakes this month. Candidates are WMS, Wilwoods and KSp
  7. Its all part and parcel of owning an EP it seems mate Bloody damn well hard to keep them in showroom condition especially after a good boost session or it fucking rains lol. Chin up and just enjoy! A bit of slag never hurt anyone (says the cleanfreak ) Joz

  17. Would the type of cardboard you use make a difference Id? Corrugated stuff is meant to be bend proof and prevent punctures. Just bought 100 mailers for some LPs I'm selling. My roll cage was scraped down one side due to the shipping, this was w/o cardboard tho. Just because it is wrapped plenty, does not mean it cannot get damaged Joz
  18. Please attempt to post in the provided technical sections in future. Topic moved. Thanks Joz
  19. Everything looks awesome Steve Glad to see it all come together dude. How are you finding the mani? Looks the muttleys. I so regret not keeping it for myself hehe. Joz
  20. Sorry to hear about this broki. The thing is you have to be REALLY specific when you get work done anywhere these days. If you don't want them to take photos, rev the engine or take it for a spin you have to let them know. Unfortunately hardly anywhere is trustworthy these days, especially for the hard to please like you and me. Imagine a wheel place that sprayed your rays wheel caps for you as a favour or took off your spanking V6 engine cover and roughed it up badly. You would think they were complete numptys... or remove your tyres badly and fuck up the rays valve stems so you had to ge
  21. You wouldnt believe the amount of miles on my rebuilt engine but it was still running sweet in the donor car. This gave me confidence to have it professionally rebuilt and it is going really well. Unless forging, I would go for a replacement GT engine than a Glanza one as the GT has the stronger/thicker rods. Joz
  22. Great news and just need to see some epornographic pics as Mr Lew stated That is all! Joz
  23. Wait until you are properly ready to buy a decent one in your price range Wull, the difference will be huge. As for insurance my v5 (logbook) is still unchanged as a 1.3 starlet but it is perfectly insured as a 1.3 4EFTE turbo conversion. If the law asks to see proof all you need is your insurance certificate with the proper details that its a turbo. 1.3 on logbook means sfa as long as its properly insured. If neither fronts are stated/insured as turbo then your insurance is void = Huge Muppet Fail. Joz
