  1. They are 'Clown' fish Looking sweet mate. Catfish ftmfw ;) Joz
  2. Best to wait for the results of the Jaystar investigation first broski. The 'ct9' test will be a good indicator to see if it is actually the turbo's fault and also to check other possible culprits (pcv valve etc). Blue smoke they say is contributed to burning oil. Using a non smoking ct9 of course. Even the compression test can't identify smoke problems etc unless a cylinder has gone. I've had the test done twice! I have a rebuilt engine and I get paranoid when something even 'smells' smokey. Have my fingers crossed for you dude, please keep us informed. Joz
  3. Its called a 'field extension harness'. EP82 Field Harness EP91 Field Harness. GTs and EP91 N/A turbo conversions are 2 plug, the EP91 glanza is 3 plug. So the field extension harness you need is 3 plug to suit EP91 Glanza. Its easy to double check by visually inspecting how many plugs are going into your factory ecu. Here is the EP91 3 plug pinout as proof: The only advantage of it is so it can be easily plugged and unplugged without touching you cars main loom and is tidy. Either way the main ultimate harness will need to be wired/spliced into the field harness. It is only 'plug 'n' play' when the whole kit is ready to go (main ultimate harness/field extension harness) all wired up. For optimum compatibility and future proofing your setup, its also best or even essential to have a 3bar map sensor and harness + injector adaptor #2 if your emanage ultimate unit is older than series 'E' PCB (circuit board version). I run all all the above with my series 'B' unit, exactly the same as Rory's in the above link, works 110%. Here you can see my emanage version (bottom right corner) These can also be homemade but far less tidier and the connection is not as good having now tried both. I'd recommend finding a field extension kit all ready to go, you just need to keep your eyes open and be ready to pay as they go fast. Hope this helps and if you need more info, just check our dedicated eManage forum. Joz
  4. Definitely a whole new meaning to the term 'panel beater' Joz
  5. The deal price is already excellent Liam ;) I'm paying my deposit for a full kit very soon. Joz
  6. Its name is called 'Karma' and ALWAYS gets it man. Joz
  7. You have pm Keri. A group buy would be immense. Joz
  8. Looks like the event was a huge success Congrats and kudos to all who attended and were involved. Just need a guitar in there More pics please mina. Joz
  9. One thing about the HD is its huge, so certainly not pocket friendly. I'm all for android, running an Xperia X10 and its all I need tbh, pocket sized and all the apps/bells and whistles I need for a ton (although I'm a sony fanboy ) After a little modding, couldnt be happier with it and battery is good. XDA is a shit hot site for getting a taste of what android has to offer. Check out some of the other HTC 'S' series, Desire S and Wildfire S, slight upgrades of the previous Desire and Wildfire respectively only recently on the market. There will always be new HTC's coming out so do some research and find something that suits you. My next phone will be iPhone5 Joz
  10. Just a final weekend reminder that its still possible to donate to this great cause no matter the amount All donations will go to the Japanese Red Cross tomorrow. Thank you everyone. Joz
  11. ?!? Joz
  12. Last chance to donate before Monday everyone No amount is too small. Its the spirit that counts Joz
  13. Don't blame the bloody camera Dan Glad you went ahead with the refurb mate, they look glorious! Very nice workmanship, far better than what was done on my Rays. Joz
  14. Bought new silicone boost pipes for the ebc and tight fixings so they dont fly off again! Also went for some CT9 goodness and came back Joz
  15. No worries mate It is obviously your extremely short intake route that is causing the trouble as they so often do. You won't know yourself once you get it sorted, nothing to worry about then. Joz
  16. I see, so it can't be your ebc solenoid then. The main case of overboost is a sudden vacuum leak so check any other pipes etc. There is a type of fuel cut where the eml doesnt turn on, first stage of it if you like, but you get the same sensation. When the eml comes on as well you could say it is the most severe form of it, not to worry you or anything as it does happen. This is probably if the boost spike was more than usual. Fuelcut is annoying especially when you are running a peak of 0.8 bar, it WILL hit as you have found out on cooler nights. Best way is to get an emanage ultimate on there, it will bypass fuelcut/speedcut, allow more boost and will map your car's afr optimally = decent tune. You can also set your own rev limit and for kicks a basic launch control. A full kit can be picked up for less than the price of a plug and play ecu. Joz
  17. Check your boost pipes going from your ebc solenoid to either the actuator or the turbo and make sure they are all tight and secure. You may also have a different vacuum leak somewhere that may only occur on full foot plant as 3rd gear gives the strongest push. Mine recently popped off the turbo and caused an overboost situation to 1.4/1.5 bar on CT9. It will basically boost freely and not hold to any given pressure = overboost. I have an emanage (mapped to 1bar) and in the case of overboost it will kill all timing and run very rich so it won't lean out at that moment. This safeguard basically saved my engine but I wouldnt like it to happen again. If this happens constantly you could melt a piston, blow the turbo or other internal damage worst case scenario. Thankfully still driving fine on and off boost and pulls the same = lucky. Not a very nice sensation thats for sure, be careful and if it happens again I'd drive off boost and stop and check it out just in case. Joz
  18. Good stuff I traded in ALL my electric axes lately and going pure acoustic. Just the Lag now and just invested in a Roland AC60 woot >< Joz
  19. I'd say both will be 100% as long as in good condition I'm now running 1bar emu mapped and my 4EFE box is still going strong, it does have a Quaife which improves it a bit more but its more than capable. The ratios are slightly shorter, not that you would notice a huge difference, however your top speed is definitely lower not that you would need one for a rapid acceleration/response ep. For the record I will eventually upgrade to a rebuilt fte box with aftermarket diff just to see the difference. Not tried a TD04 setup with it yet but we'll see what the box and clutch have to say about that. Joz
  20. So intriguing man, whatever it is I'm sure it will rock. Have an awesome time at Rob & Amy's wedding bro. In the meantime I'll be learning some scales lol! Joz
  21. What car parts can be some horrendously awesome and expensive that they need installments? I keep thinking you are buying another EP but thats most unlikely. I got no deets from Jay on the phone so looking forward to 'finding' out what these mystery parts are dude. Glad to know you will be getting your horn sorted, the £100 bosskit just wasnt feasible was it lol! Joz
  22. I'd go for Levin twin pots or a similar upgrade from the standard calipers as no matter what discs and pads you put on it, they won't give you the extra stopping power you will need. and benefit from for the extra power/torque/speed the TD04 is going to produce. Do note that these types of calipers are used/2nd hand and more often than not need rebuilding and servicing which adds to the cost, plus brake disc modifications and longer wheel studs/spacers etc if gathering the parts separately. I use the levin twins myself and for day to day they are very efficient and a proper upgrade, on the track I am sure they would hold their own. As well as standard toyota pads you can also get great aftermarket stuff like Endless and the like, I use Endless SS. Tyres well worth checking out for the road are Goodyear Eagle GSD3 (discontinued but still stock about) Uniroyal Rainsport 2 (best grip in the wet for a road tyre) and good in the dry or for pure dry weather the Yokohama Parada Spec2. Check out camskill for great prices on sets of tyres delivered to your door. What is your budget? If the skys the limit, a set of new WMS, Wilwoods, or K-Sport will sort you out rightly. £600-£800-900 depending on your choice and seriousness of your project/driving style. 2nd hand 4pot kits like Wilwoods can be found for £500+ but they don't come up often, if its for something as important as brakes I'd go brand new. For our cars there is no such thing as overkill, if you want big brakes they will only help you in the long run in your search for more power and a higher level of tune. Joz
  23. Please read these recent updates on the situation from the JRC if you have the time, really hits the message home. Updates Although they have received many donations, at least we know we have done our part with this small contribution. Joz
  24. This will be the last week for paypal donations folks ;) Feel free to donate to the cause by other means if it is more convenient and if you have already done so, have some uksc kudos.
