  4. No need for custard Mr Wallace (I did have a good look in the cupboards by the way !). I actually used mspaint to black out that crap in the background Thanks very much for the kind comments lads, 4 months is a well overdue update :surrender: First things first, a HUGE thanks to Dan507 for agreeing to sell me HIS bumper and providing me with a painless and efficient service! Without this bumper I'd be stuck with 98 spec as EP Styling no longer trades, so its much appreciated bro. Its an honour that she will live on attached to my Red EP. Hope you like how it turned out ;) Am really pleased with how much the bumper has changed the EP's stance. Meisters have been lowered more than usual also (back on 195/45's) and the bonnet and both chu fenders have been resprayed. So a minty fresh front end for the coming (hopefully) warm summer months. Underneath has been clear wax oiled and arbs etc painted black. Innovate wideband is installed and doing its job. Still a few more neat touches to add and some better photos as these were taken outside the bodyshop with a phone. Please enjoy in all her un-stonechipped glory! Hopefully the next update won't take as long... Joz

  15. UR2's for sure and be sure to go low profile. Have tried 50 profile and in general feels more floaty and less planted than 45's. I feel they are a better all round tyre, great in the dry, fantastic in the wet, not many can say that! Perfect for where I live. Less softer than Eagles, Toyo or Yokos but still a decent compound. Average rim protection however... Have tried Kumho Ecsta KU31, Eagle GSD3 and UR2. Eagles are far more expensive than UR2s. Just check Camskill and you will understand, very highly recommended for the best prices delivered, fast too. £50 inc vat all in from Camskill for UR2s vs £61odd+ vat from local tyre fitters = £73 odd, you do the maths I use the same tyres all round, no skimping on one of the more important components of the car. Joz

  20. Sorry to hear about EP-Tune and Vehicle importing but I'm sure its for the best and your personal circumstances. Take all the time you need Joe bro and make sure to come back to the forum when you are ready! Peace Joz
  21. Silver tends to corrode a little, so best bet is to go for anything but base silver as the rest are anodised I had no choice as mine came with the kit. Had the choice I'd go red or gold Joz
  22. Put the £200 towards a Blitz mate I got mine off eBay for 180 and it hasnt missed a beat (once set up properly) Only thing that can go wrong are the solenoids. Go for the Spec R, VERY reliable, even more so than the Greddys. There are a fair number of control unit versions as the design changed every few years or so. Joz
  23. I was driving home tonight and though bloody hell this car feels heavier (no passengers and I have no gut) It'd cost a fair bit of dough for a full lightweight tailgate and perspex windows etc, I believe Idworkz had an interest thread. The heaviest thing I've found with my 91 are the doors, although its nice they shut solidly, they weigh a ton! I have manual windows, no c/l, aircon or any of that jazz. All of the installed strut braces and rollbars would add some weight back in. As for wings there is a little weight saving when using frp or carbon but its minimal I found If I could choose again I'd go for a GT as both really are a different drive. You can really feel the weight difference. They are getting on a bit so it gets harder and harder to find a mint example. Joz
  24. Welcome to UKSC Andy Great to have you onboard. As you know, there is a healthy EP scene in the UK and Ireland. Nice to see some effort put into taking those photos, GT looks sweet. You can start up your project build thread in our member's rides EP8? section> http://www.ukstarlet...hp?showforum=17 Most importantly - Enjoy! - Joz
