  1. Ermm, I have no idea lol, you're the Coral Pro Suprise me.
  2. They require quite extensive cutting of a 96 glanza bumper, I can say that much. They are very much worth the hassle though! +1 Good plan my good man, makes a heck of a difference when running higher boost.
  3. Oooh, Coral Pro eh? I was gonna say, your welcome to have a play with mine I'll dig something out, do you want high quality?
  4. Some good photochops here, I like the outlined multicoloured 98 glanza! what you using to do this meggy?

  6. Hell yeah, I remember when James (best mate) first let me drive the glanz to work on my own, had some fun with derestricting 1st and 2nd, that feeling of boost was a almost bit scary at first but soon turned to joy lol. That was me hooked, I had to buy it! Bet your loving it mate, I'd like to see what that lsd is like
  7. Nice Gt Sparks, bet you're stoked to finally have a turbo under the hood Its got some nice goodies by the sound of it too. Wait till you start running some more horses, thats when the fun really starts!
  8. lol, the Ibc i-colour is a bit of overkill for a starlet as you are only running about 1 bar of boost but a very good one none the less. Even at £400 theyre very expensive, when you can have an HKS EVC, Greddy E-01 or Apexi AVCR brand new for that price. imo, for a starlet a very good option is the AVCR due to its ability to set the boost to any level in any gear. But with all these controllers, you need to be prepared to spend a good amount of time on the intial setup and tune of the boost levels. If you don't like complicated, the blitz sbc spec r is a good choice, simple to use, r
  9. Defo mate, theyre great hybrids for sure
  10. lol, I get where you're coming from. Sounds like the Jam was mapped for a Ct9. My Blitz Access I know for a fact was their "stage 1" Blitz K1 hybrid map, (which is a ct9 hybrid) so it matches my setup very well indeed. Blitz only seem to make ecus with 3 set maps, each for different turbo setups as apposed to Jam who map each ecu individually to a specific car.
  11. Wooo! Toby your back! lol. Listen to Toby guys, hes been there and done it all already.
  12. Ok, Theres some misinformation being thrown around here guys. Firstly, Jam/Blitz etc ecus are not "self mapping". Secondly, they have the potential to run your injectors much further than the stock ecu does. They can cope with much higher boost pressures than 1.2 bar but sufficient larger injectors are needed for this. Often when running higher boost it is safer to run a mappable ecu with sufficient injectors. The Jam and Blitz Ecus I have run have fueled well for 1bar though. I'm running a hybrid at 1 bar, but sometimes it creeps to 1.1 on cold nights. This is about the limit of your stock
  13. This is probs a repost but I who cares http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4pXfHLUlZf4
  14. lol, my mates Glanza had this exact problem, its sorted now though Seems a common problem with starlets!
  15. lol, he said a top speed of 155, but a terminal speed of 115 in 13 seconds on the quater mile. 155 through the trap would need some insane horsepower!
  16. Wallace is running 190 bhp on a standard ct9, it is possible but to achieve a steady 200 bhp you will need a hybrid ct9 @ circa 1bar. The hybrid I have will run 1.1 bar consistently but you will need to forge your engine with sufficient fueling to run that kind of boost safely and reliably imo. Turbo Dave is running 221 bhp on his hybrid at 1.2 bar on a forged engine to give you an example.
  17. I was looking for this thread in the Glanza section but couldnt find it, didnt realise it was a conversion you were doing mate, looks mint! I appreciate the work you've put into cleaning up the engine etc, I hope it all goes smoothly for ya! Sparks, Hybrid Development Industries are based in Australia, all the research, design and development is done there, but the product is manufacturered in China, which makes sense to me, the quality is still absolutely top notch, only Greddy and WEPR kits are on the same level of build quality as these You know you want one!
  18. Beautiful Glanza man, good pics too! Sparky, he may have the wires going down into the window heater vent at the front of the dash, thats what I did.
