  1. This thing is gonna be a monster! Just had a little ride in it and at 0.6 bar its already pretty scary! Wait till its mapped thats all I can say lol Thanks for the spin Dane (The cam covers coming up really shiny too!)
  2. lol, so Mikens one should be scrapped then? Theres a white 86 for sale with 4-AGZE Supercharged lump fully rebuilt by the owner, looks really tempting but the body work needs some Tlc. I would have Mikens one over it any day. You can always add Itbs or forced induction at a later date
  3. LOVE IT ps what happened to the black cam cover? IC pipe wrap looks sweet too.
  4. Whoever wrote the description knows there stuff and is obviously a big fan of AE86s. I am pretty sure I will get one as my next car, when thatll be im not sure. I dont think I can let go of boost just yet!
  5. I agree with the above. Im running a hybrid on 16s now and still have traction issues pretty much every day. On the 15s it was a joke in anything lower than 3rd gear.
  6. They range from £4k to 9k on average. For a decent one looking at 6k upwards I wouldnt want to settle with an 'ok' one though, I'd rather have one thats been cherished and modded properly.
  7. Following on from Mikens new aquisition, I got on with looking for a nice Ae86 again, and I found this: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/815273.htm Probably the nicest cleanest one I've ever seen for sale, but very very expensive. Tbh if I had the money spare I would be ridiculously tempted to buy buy buy! If you want to here what one sounds like on Itbs check out the vid that Sparky posted up not long ago.
  8. Goddam those rims look pimpin! They do look larger than 16s in a way as mentioned above. I wish I still had them too tucka!
  9. 6k is a good price for what you got there. I would love a black one but the white looks just as sexy. hmm you might have to find a set of thin wheels to use one day a year lol. What about some steelies? Unless of course the police are very strict on this in Holland too
  10. I hadnt seen this one before so thought it was worth a post. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zSIf0IwdiK0&NR=1 This is a nicely setup Gt running 200ps (most likely on a Ct9 hybrid). I think it does well to impress Tsuchiya as he is used to driving cars with many times the horsepower If you look at the spec list, its much like what a lot of us aim for when modding our starlets. Well balanced with quick response and decent composure on the road.
  11. lol I bet you are! There were some other minters around when I was looking but they were asking upwards of 9k for one! It'll be very tempting to drift in it but Im sure you'll exercise discretion on that one
  12. About 6-8k depending on spec and condition. I cant remember how much Mikens was up for. Either way, its a lot of money for a 1986 car (thanks to the drift culture and Initial D), but very much worth it!
  13. Awesome, glad to see its still on the forum. Cool Mushroom as well
  14. ohh my god!! That is Sick!!! I was looking at buying this exact car when it came up on pistonheads, was sooo tempting with that spec and condition, Beauty. Enjoy it in good health mate!
  15. lol, my quest to find the largest tachometer in the world is not over! It is bigger than a ct9 though you're right
  16. Red = Diirrrrrty (in a good way)
  17. hehe same lads who did Jizz In My Pants
  18. You did the right thing mate for two reasons. 1. Silver Glanz + Custom Blue Gt3=Winz FACT. 2. You have made a whole new oppurtunity with your ride for more custom colour wheel mayhem! Those Final Speeds do look sick too, im sure you'll come up with something nice for em Cheers Bro!
  19. Thats right, belonged to my best mate. It couldnt have had a better previous owner! Cheers mate, just replied to ya. You're in for some fun I can say that much! EP91 ftMFW I've been without it since monday morning (new synchros) and already I've got severe withdrawal!
  20. Hahaha! Its the glasses!
  21. Have you ever touched the outer shell of a metal lamp shade before? What happened when you did? Very little I expect, because light manufacturers wouldnt be silly enough to make an entire lamp live would they? Or at least if they were they'd have a lot of angry (and frazzled) customers.
  22. It wasnt exactly a bright idea though.
  23. hehe, thanks man. When Im in London next I'll let you know, I might let you try them for a day as long as you dont do a runner
