  1. Hahaha, thats funny as I saw him eyeing it up big style the other day! lol, hes asked me to source him one so I'm on the case. I might know someone who can make one up for him but we'll see. lol @ your avatar Sparky
  2. Cheers man, I appreciate that. I understand your view on the TA strip for sure, some purists seem to be very touchy on this, especially at MLR forums. Personally I believe that while I don't compete in the event, what should stop me from promoting it? It is a little known competetion and people have since asked me about and wanted to know more including when the events are so they can check it out.
  3. Here is my mates Glanza, hes owned it for a while now, but since him and I met a few months ago hes been spending some serious cash on it, with my help of course. Current Mods include: Decat Custom Cat Back Blitz Power Intake FSE Fuel Reg Tein Super Street Coilovers Lenso RS5 16s And thats about it so far. However not for long, watch this space. Some pics from my last photo location, thought it was worth the journey to grab a few more shots before looking for a new place to shoot at. The photos came out quite dark, I was experimenting with a new setting I found on the camera, the pics o
  4. Awesome to see a vid of it mate, that TD-05 sounds beautiful on boost! Where abouts is that road? We gotta get some photos of it on the go , let me know if you're free this weekend
  5. If you get yourself a 96 lip, you can butcher the bumper as above, then mask it by sqeezing the splitter on after the bumper has been refitted. Its a bit of a bitch to do (cutting and refitting the bumper) but the lip usually sqeezes ontop with out much hassle and is well worth it imo. Heres mine with blue lip and now with black lip.
  6. Cheers bud, just saw that ae86 vid you posted up, looks so tempting! That may well be a potential replacement for the glanz, it fills all the right boxes, quick, 4AGE sounds lush, rwd, looks classic and very special, uber rare, Just the ticket! Just need to find 7k to buy one lol.
  7. hehe, I know where you're coming from, you can never be 100% sure what the map was originally. I bought a Jam one which didn't agree with my mods at the time. The Blitz ones however come in 3 varietys, level 1 being a map for the Blitz K1 Turbo (Ct9 Hybrid). This works very well indeed with my current setup.
  8. lol cheers man, I had been toying with this idea, had a word with Nick at Tuning Developments. He told me that the blitz ones are usually very well mapped especially the ignition map so getting an emanage would only produce minor gains. We'll see how it does on the rollers! Tbh, Even if I haven't broken 200 brake mark I wont be dissapointed, it really does fly now! But If I do go emanage, you will be the first to know about the blitz, keep saving the pennys for one, something might come up, like that Zep one for instance.
  9. I've got a Blitz Access mate, I never liked the idea of tuning with an fpr. The Blitz Ecus have extremely good ignition maps apparently.
  10. Ok, but when I post this I must stress that this run was performed with discretion and in the presence of no-one but myself. It was simply a demonstration of the capabilities of a Hybrid setup. Enjoy
  11. lol, there is a video on youtube with a glanza just like mine doing a 0-100 sprint, I would post the link but I feel Id get the wrong kind of comments even though it was on an empty road at 2am.
  12. lol cheers man, Im keeping the splitter black as most people say it gives it a harder look to the front end, I think it looks more track like with it black and the hassle and expense of spraying it isnt a priority at the moment. As for the rev gauge, yes its ridiculously huge and there mainly for comical value! But it doesn't really bother me at all, after you endure the back braking ride of Cusco Zero 2s, big bright gauges in your face is the last thing on your mind while driving.
  13. Awesome mate, cant wait to see it when its lowered on some nice rotas, what ones have you decided on? I was in Cheltenham on the 22nd but forgot to text you, its getting so busy now!
  14. Just a lil update with some photos courtesy of my new Camera! Apologies for the number of them, been going a bit photomad lately! Cheers, Pav
  15. Awesome pics Sparky! As you said Dane is a top guy and offers some top products for starlet turbo owners. I have a good few products of his on my car and I am very impressed with them. Some more from the other night: And some from when we were on the phone Dane lol
  16. Sure mate, thats the old one but its apparently almost identical to mine. Personally I never thought a camera could be so easy to use, theres very little that needs to be setup with it. Maybe I was so used to finding good lighting with my old crappy camera phone that it seems much easier now! I will say that lighting is very important. The only way to get a good night shot is to have decent overhead lights or use a tripod with a long exposure, which you can do with S5700. It has a lot of the features of a digital SLR but without the price tag. Shoot me a pm and we can have a chat, theres a fe
  17. Here are some shots from last nights shoot with Galliano. I picked my new cam up from currys for £97. Cant wait to get a tripod now and do some long exposure shots! Phew! Overall I am very happy with the camera, I never thought this image quality was attainable for under £100. If you want one, here is the link: http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_...p;category_oid= Comments and constructive critisism on getting some better shots would be great. Cheers, Pav
  18. I hear you on that one mate, we were thinking exactly that about the tripod last night. Also, my lights are smoked and I love them dearly . lol seriously though, when the lights are turned on they do look smart and I wanted to keep a silver and black theme going (having red lights would break this up). And yes I am a big fat Chav also.
  19. hehe, you can come with if you want mate, and venture into the chaotic pandemonium that is last minute xmas rush!
  20. lol, I may well do that. My parents usually give me money for crimbo which often works out better as it means I can put it towards something big (like a new clutch for instance!). Pay-day is today and I had my christmas shopping sorted ages ago so I thought, shopping spree! lol I might wait till boxing day to pull the trigger on one though due to the sales
  21. Im on it mate, been doing a bit of research! Will be off shopping for one tomorrow, so ill give you a ring mate. I reckon its doable to get some decent shots for about £100.
  22. Sounds like you're on to a good start mate. Lightened pulleys, greddy radiator and hks fuel rail an unessecary expense for 250hp, there are much more important things you can focus on, but the rest is a good plan. To attain 250 your gonna be looking down the TD04/TD05 route, or any other similar alternative. Also, your gonna need to forge the internals to support that level of bhp, even with a perfect tune you'd be pushing past the limits of a standard 4e, but I'm not saying its impossible Also, be prepared to either go through a load of blood sweat and tears if you're doing it all yourself
  23. Sorry to Hijack but I have a quiery. Can you explain why adding larger injectors over stock ones will make you run rich mate? From what I've read about Ecus, stock and performance ones, they read your afr from the lambda sensor and adjust the injector duty accordingly to attain the target air fuel ratio set by the map. So even if you added 400+cc injectors, you shouldnt run any leaner or richer than with the standard 295cc injectors, the ecu will just dial down the duty so that it doesnt run rich. Injectors from what I can see make no difference to performance directly, but larger ones can be
  24. Oh really, well I found that my new stepper motor gauge gave a much more stable reading than my previous one, which seemed to read very inconsistently indeed, it was however an autogauge boost gauge . Sounds like you just need to wire up the red to live and black to earth Soop, (unless there are any other wires like yellow or orange which is usually to dim the gauge when the lights are switched on), then you can fire it up and see whats crackin.
  25. This is an interesting thread, its nice to see some parents actually encouraging our hobbies with our cars rather than wasting money on getting wrecked every week or on pointless crap. Neither my mum or my dad are into cars, I on the other hand am car nuts, I have no idea where I get it from! My mum used to question me about all the stuff that came in the post when I had my old car, so much so that I would never let slip what I'd bought or how much I'd spent, shed probably flip otherwise . As for bits lying around, I had the occasional bunch of car parts in the garage which she would moan
