  5. 10w40 semi is fine, change it every 10k i did roughly 2000 miles a month while at uni, drove like a champ
  6. 9-10k for a N/A is more than adequate if anything its early....ran mine to over 106k in the 3 years i had and not one problem or leak turbo cars is a different story due to the heat and breaking down of the oil
  7. Whats the mileage on the engine? how hard is it driven? how many miles does it rack up? forced induction? track use? I was the same when i got my car only wanted the best but in reality its a 4e-fe not a massive powerhouse that requires an expensive oil to keep it in tip top condition....nor does it need a special ester based oil due to being broken down so quickly by a turbo/track use. then theres the cost of the said oils! think everyone is forgetting to ask the main questions....you have a carbed 2E? depending on mileage it will most likely burn the low weight oil when used (check the owners manual it will probably list a 10w) get a 10w40 semi (castrol is fine) with a blue print filter and a magnetic sump plug....change it every 10k and you`ll be grand oh and i wouldnt flush it unless your 100% your engine is spot on and all the seals etc are perfect
  8. It happened during the last two weeks of uni, me and a friend went out to get something to eat....came round a corner and out of no where this little kid starts running out i thought he`d stop or atleast go halfway and wait there...he carried on running leaving my no choice but to swerve i mounted a brick wall took a out a wrough iron wall fence (proper heavy duty mofo) and narrowly missed a occupied house.. the doped up kid fell over when he got to the other side ....no one was hurt bar a few bruises Been putting it off posting it up on here really, well and truely gutted i put blood sweat and tears in to it for the last three years...do a few more mods...track it at japfest enjoy it and move on to a V next year....instead this happens
  9. Well here goes nothing.......an explanation for the lack of updates for the last two months atleast
  10. Welcome to the club, yeah standard discs and pads are fine for the back, they may just need a clean up and grease so id try that first

  23. Ive seen it recommended in banzai iirc but not sure how good it is, tbh for the time it takes for it to come to your door you could do a strip down and replace the headgasket depending on how fast you can get your head skimmed etc which is what id do
  24. Doesnt look to be a HKS one, there shite anyway just a car washing sponge cut to shape
  25. When i removed mine it had what looked to be a blue 3.5mm jack in the back, ive only ever seen one stalk control on a N/A and that was years ago....there was no cdx model only GLS and CD (both the highest spec N/As as is the SR)
