Just an idea. Private sellers should create their own individual feedback thread, that members can add feedback to, once they purchase any parts from them. A link to their feedback thread, can/or should be added to every Classified thread they make. I've noticed that some people leave feedback for different members they have bought stuff from, but they are all on different threads. By doing the above, everything can be brought together into one thread, and maybe give forum members a bit more piece of mind, before they part with there hard earned. As I said...just an i

Yeah saw that, but I don't need the whole kit...just the bottom two pipes lol. If no ones got any, I may have to get that kit man.

I bought a fmic kit a few months back, and the hot side pipe, and the lower cold side are fucked (Knew this when I bought it, as it was off crashed damaged Glanza). Has anyone got any spare ones laying around, or know of anywhere I can get some pipes made up (2.5inch) These are the ones I need. I was thinking to maybe butcher my TMIC piping, but I'm guessing they'll be smaller than 2.5 inch? Thanks

Thinking about having a stab at fitting my TD04 kit this weekend guys. Never done this before, but been doing quite a lot of DIY on my car lately, and learning as I go along. So thought why not give it a stab. So what I need to know is: 1. How to remove existing manifold, decat and turbo? Will I need to soak the bolts in w40 for a couple of days before hand, or get a blow torch to heat them up? 2. How would I plumb in my external waste gate i.e. where do I connect the vacuum hoses to? 3. Is there anything I need to do to the TD04 before fitting it? Its already been rotated and

Deffo don't do a track day, or it WON'T be going anywhere man lol. Looks mega cool, whats the full spec? Anymore pics?

Thanks Morgey. Any idea how much they are roughly?

Anyone know where I can get a good quality blow torch from? I don't want something mega expensive and professional, just a small one to try and remove a seized bolt on my car. Thought halfords may have some in, but didn't have much luck. Thanks

Hmmm...ok I'll give that a try. Once its out, can I just get any 8mm Bolt to replace it, which is the same length, or does it have to be the same Toyota one? lol @ keep my hand clean gloves. They're good at times, but I prefer using the rubber gloves - ran out of them so had to use these ones instead lol

How do I take the bracket off dude? I could see some bolts behind the top pulley, but didn't have a clue how to get to them :s (pulley was in the way)

As above lads, was trying to fit a new alternator belt before, and had to remove the pas belt to get the alternator belt off. Anyway, I managed to snap the tensioner bolt on the pas http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=48348 Can Anyone tell me how I get the rest of the bolt out, that is still attached to the bracket? Also can anyone tell me the Toyota part number for a replacement bolt? Thanks

Driver side window regulator / motor - EP85
Djaniero replied to Griffin's topic in 4WD Starlet Knowledge Base
hmm I'd be skeptical too man. As said above, its the motor that usually fails, not the reg. Have you got a pic of the reg? Heres my drivers side reg ( one at the bottom of the pic) http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/78288-elec-window-motor-help/ compare it to yours and see if anything looks bent. My reg had really seen better days (I went over it with a wire brush and sand paper before greasing it up and fitting it again) but it still worked fine...it was my motor that failed, -
Driver side window regulator / motor - EP85
Djaniero replied to Griffin's topic in 4WD Starlet Knowledge Base
Dyou need the regulator or the motor? The regulators for the ep82 and ep91 are different. Not too sure about the 85 though. If you re stuck for a motor, just get an mr2 one off ebay and change the plug around. HTH -
Somebody posted a link a few weeks back for the ones that you use to delete the rear window wiper. But I'm sure the one in the boot is bigger. LOL....we deffo need to find the link!!!

Thanks Daniel. Are they quite straightforward to fit?
