  1. Yeah you can go straight away and that's what I'd recommend. If it does fail then you can sell the track time. I went over to the briefing centre and they had a list of names and numbers of people waiting to buy
  2. No I measured it at 101dB before Japfest, so it was 0.4dB out
  3. Matt I'd get it sorted if you can, massive pain in the arse last time trying to find a bung and then just about managing to sell my Track Time. Limit at Combe was 100dB @4500rpm and they didn't let me on with the car being 101.4dB. There was an exhaust shop there that they sent me to but they didn't have a bung that fit my exhaust I got my letter for JF2 yesterday and it says Donington has a limit of 98dB, that they measure before and during track time. They do watch the revs and they mic is about a metre away as some of the guys have said. I can't remember whether it's measured at 4000rpm or 4500rpm at Donington. I measured my car last night with that bung wedged in at both 4000/4500rpm with "Sound Meter" on my Android phone and it came up with 98dB both times. Then again I don't know the accuracy of the app and they could be knobheads about it on the day so I'm playing it safe and getting a silencer welded in to bring it right down most probably!
  4. Cheers Luke! No idea I haven't had a chance to find out but it's with Adam atm I'll have it at Japfest but it may have a chunk of paint missing from it above the exhaust lol
  5. Wow 20,000 views! Big love to everyone who's ever checked out the build! Car was QD'd the other week so thought I'd stick a few pics I took at the time, where has the Sun gone? No real updates. The back box has a tiny hole by the rivets that hold the tailpipe on so I'm going to get that sorted at Pro-Speed tomorrow. Also I might need a permanent silencer welding in as even with a bung the sound meter readings are 98DB, the limit at Donington! Not going to risk being chucked off track like I was last time over 0.4DB so it's probably getting a silencer! Also need to get the clutch done before JF2 as it is NAFFED! Amjad
  6. Also check the tyre pressures and the sensor in the inlet pipe is screwed in, does it need an oil change?
  7. Just get some nice shiny new chrome ones, no worries when it comes to removal and fitting them as they won't chip
  8. The centre bit would look quality done in black!
