  1. We saw a Yellow Glanza at Japfest this year! Nothing on Iddy's one though tbf lol
  2. If you want named insurance try Alliance & Leicester, then maybe start your own policy after you have 1 year experience?
  3. Welcome dude! Hope you enjoy your stay here Have a look through the Member's Rides/Technical section in the left hand bar for info & inspiration!
  4. Livesports/TOMs kits for the '82 are om nom nom
  5. Thanks
  6. I was gonna look at getting some saying 98 and EP-91 on them but I'm not spending money on anything but a conversion now I reckon it'll look good, but don't put SR, I assume it'd be on the top line? The authentic ones only have Japanese characters & numbers on the top I believe?
  7. Well done and be safe
  8. That is so cool! ;)
  9. ;)
  10. Any links anyone? Saw this a few months back and completely forgot about it, really wanna see it!
  11. LOL @ Sam! I've been to Malaysia which is pretty close to Thailand! Awesome place to go to be fair, and yeah the cars there are very JDM, and MINT!
  12. Motion pics look amazing! Almost like you're drifting in the 1st one
  13. Awesome little EP! Can't wait to see it progress ;)
  14. To be honest apart from bills etc, 90% of any money I spend probably goes on the car
  15. No worries mate, glad you found it helpful! One thing I'd say is, decats aren't necessarily going to give you better power. At the recent rolling road say two EPs with Stainless Exhaust mani back systems (inc decat) made less power than my car which only has a Cat-back system! Also, I don't think there are any aftermarket exhausts available, everyone I've heard of has had custom 2" jobbies!
  16. Well its funny you mention that! Both Ryan Lang & Rob Bower has Stainless mani back systems including decats and I achieved a higher figure than both, which is why I was so surprised/happy! ;) Haha I don't drink or go clubbing so I guess I'm off to a decent start?
  17. Cheers for the comments people! ;) Good to meet you guys too, had a nice nosey round your cars and they looked even better than your photos! Hehe you can say that again, much appreciated man it was awesome! Sorry again about the dint Yeah I'm well happy with the figure, much more than I was expecting! Yup all my mates at uni have been telling me I'm gonna be skint lol! Trying to save up as much as I can before I start as I'm full-time at the moment, then see how the next year goes. If I can secure a job again from June>Sept next year I MAY just be able to get it done, but I think it's safer to say it'll be done in 2012! I think the conversion would be worth doing, because despite not having spent thousands on the car compared to other people, I have spent a significant amount of time, effort and money on her. If I was to buy a Glanza I'd have to find a decent one, do a lot of the same mods again or transfer them over, and then would be stuck with an N/A not worth selling (which I'd then have to tax & keep on the road too!) Appreciate the input though bro & thanks! Yeah not much to be honest Chris lol! - Apex'i Filter w/Alloy induction pipe & Cold air feed - Corolla inlet manifold - 2" Cat-Back Exaust system (Straight through) I have taken a video but my camera has a crappy microphone Not really any updates recently, but I'll be uploading my Vid and Pics from Saturday's meet at MM as soon as I can! MOT is the next job methinks, and then the joy of paying Road Tax lol
  18. Use the search button and have a browse around at the Engine, Suspension & Braking topics for N/As there are a lot of threads and info there! General info- - All Glanza body parts are interchangeable and the best place to find them are in the Classifieds section on the forum - Bug-Eye Corolla 1.3 inlet manifolds fit onto our engines and give a noticeable gain in torque and bhp! - K&N Panel filter is probably the best bet unless you're upgrading your exhaust system, in which case you should get a Cone filter with an Alloy pipe! - Plenty of Suspension parts are available on the forums/Ebay/Online Suspensions are interchangeable between Turbos and Non-Turbos but Stock items ARE NOT the same between models! Whiteline Rear ARB and Anti-Lift kits are awesome as well as Front stut brace (which you can get from a GT/Glanza) and Rear brace, which again improve the handling vastly! - Cheap brake discs are available on Ebay and Greenstuff/Yellowstuff pads along with Braided front lines and DOT 5.1 fluid are a win! That's the main stuff really, and what I've generally done to mine! Have a look through my build thread in the member's rides section, I'd like to think I've covered most areas, and I now own a well rounded N/A
  19. Don't like to admit it but he'll have you, and by a fair amount if you're stock IMO
  20. You lucky b****** ;) na just kidding man good on you Bet you can't wait to start driving her!
  21. I run 195/50/15 Team Dynamics alloys, not sure on the offset, but they used to rub a lot on full lock! I am lowered 40mm and didn't get any rubbing on the rear drivers arch (common when you don't get an aftermarket panhard rod and the car is lowered). I recently got 3mm, 5mm spacers on the front and rear repectively, no more rubbing on full lock but I do get rubbing on the driver's rear when I have people in the back! Also front wheel looks like it has positive camber so need to get that looked at lol :S
  22. Yup as brad said all you need is the TD12! do it!
  23. Lol dunno if you saw the other thread? But anyhow, gotta see what converted N/A insurance is like, how much money I can save through uni, and if I can secure a summer job next year! Possibility of next year, but probably more likely 2012 (hopefully not!)
  24. Sorry for the spam miib, Ryan discuss in my build thread if you like; I gotta see what the cash situation is like when I'm at uni, and if I can secure a summer job next year!
