yeah true, pain in the arse piston rings lol, I've followed mine as it says on the Wiesco sheet anyways, summut like 55 for race/road nitrous use...

yeah i spoke to weisco myself and the guy said taht 99.9% of there rings come pre gapped anyway, you still have to check it though just incase the bore hasnt been done correctly etc..

either real carbon fiber wrap them or leave them Matt black.

I've put them in the block and checked the gaps and all seems fine mate.

*** UPDATE*** well, been very busy over the last few weeks sorting all sorts of things out and waiting for parts etc... Im still waiting for one set of piston rings which should be with me in a few days if all goes well, and im also waiting for the rear oil crank seal. The head is with the local machine shop at the moment, just waiting to get my uprated valve stem seals. Bits on route is, Athena 1.2mm headgasket Arp head bolts Dizzy cap PCV valve inlet & exhaust gaskets also need to find a complete thermostat housing and bottom crank pully. Not long now and il be able to fire the girl up. I had to get this sticker.......... and one very VERY rich neighbour's collection 3 weeks from now, the glanza will be back !!!!!!

who ever has had these, which way up do the piston rings go??? They say theres a dot on them, but i cant find any dots apart from a small number on two of each set saying 'N100' any help would be great, cheers
