  1. You'll spend a fortune getting them repaired hence why I got rid of my set for Meister's instead - which are much better for back roads. Mickgardner racing quoted me for repairing them -£120 a shock and you should really do them in pairs.
  2. Yes, there are adjustment screws holding the fogs on, you should be able to adjust them with the bumper fitted from below.
  3. Certainly sounds like the alternator has gone, you should still be getting over 13volts with the ancillaries on whilst running.
  4. The glanza is in because it was in GT4 and all the cars have been copied from it albeit updated slightly. The only bad thing is the glanza won't be a "premium" model in the game so won't have as much detail as some of the other cars but at least it's in. Can't wait till next week, I've had my preorder in for ages!
  5. I've got the OMP boss kit and it came with a brass ring.
  6. You need to get a boss kit with a contact strip on it for the horn, if you look at the back of the standard wheel there is a brass ring which contacts with a little pin on the steering column. If your boss kit doesn't have the brass ring you could stick one on then solder a connector onto it to connect with the horn button.
  7. Agreed, will most likely be the thermostat seal has perished or it's stuck open. Changing it is easy.
  8. The only way to know for sure is by getting the fuelling properly checked with a wideband or on a rolling road. However you're best getting all the bits required to run the td04 properly fitted at the same time, this will give you more gains over the hybrid as you won't make much more power at the lower boost with the td04 and will have less response too.
  9. A little more smoke out of the exhaust after fitting a decat is completely normal, I wouldn't worry unless it is excessive. You will also notice it a lot more on cold days and when the car is just started.
  10. 5th of November Topic merged by the way, no point starting a new topic when there's already one open.
  11. Yes, I replaced mine. The actual person that makes them is here http://www.mygarage-glasgow.co.uk/
  12. Yes but not very well, and they don't look as good.
  13. The cost of replacement discs is the reason I've not bothered buyng a second hand pair of the wilwood kits that have come up for sale - you should've stayed in the gb sparky!
  14. I have this set up and it's awful, the 3G discs have fallen apart, I will post a picture of them when I take them off.
  15. The rear brakes only do about 20% of the overall braking so there isn't much point upgrading them stock rear discs and pads are fine, you won't notice the difference especially in our cars which are so light at the rear.
  16. Welcome to the forum - again. Please try to post in the correct sections ie put up a post in the wanted section for the body parts you're after, then you'll also get first refusal on the parts your looing for.
  17. Get the TD12 and show everyone what it's capable of.
  18. Welcome to the forum, to answer your question - yes there is a diagnostic system similar to the celica..... http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9295
  19. Get the Meister's..... http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....showtopic=29952
  20. You can find the exact specs of each type on the manufacturers website. Basically all have similar spring rates (BC and meisters are exactly the same) but the meisters damping rates are much more suited to the UK roads. Each of those coilovers have the same basic design and hence features and in terms of build quality they'll all be fairly similar. If it's for road use you are getting them then the Meister's will be the best by far.
  21. No, just nip it up hand tight, it needs to be reasonably loose or the bearing won't turn!
