  1. No. You should easily be able to get the stud out with the turbo in place, just get some mole grips on it.
  2. It's good to see you branching out into a full trading position geo, I'm sure you'll be excellent to deal with and wish you the best of luck with it - although I don't think you need it.
  3. Those studs can be removed easily and new one's bought from toyota, not really a big problem.
  4. It's not a good place to have a temperature sensor as it's so vulnerable, you don't want it getting ripped out by a stone then losing all your oil....
  5. Agree with the above, just about all your threads seem to be about "glanza's vs whatever", it's not a great idea posting this constantly on a public forum.
  6. Remove the sensor on the end of the tee as it looks like a standard oil pressure switch, so you want to put the existing one off your car there then put the other end of the tee where the standard oil pressure switch was. Fitting the oil temp in the place shown above isn't necessarily easier than a sandwich plate as you'll still need to either space out the powersteering bracket or drill a hole through it, as above though you can see it in my thread.
  7. Morrisons too, I've got a copy from there, was gonna wait a while but you can't turn it down for £26!
  8. Don't go to SMR, heard a few bad stories from there.
  9. Big KY ? As in you like to use a lot of KY jelly???
  10. The size of the hole that the dump valve attaches to on the intercooler pipework could be too small and not letting enough air out so it can't dump properly, I had that with mine.
  11. I was passed by a silver v in the tunnel but it didn't seem that loud or fast and I don't even think it had a fmic, but it was silver and had a duck spolier, looked similar to yours but don't think it was? We were watching Ogier's car being worked on then left just after that about 9.30 I think.
  12. You didn't happen to go past a blue peugeot 207 through the tunnel out of cardiff on saturday did you?
  13. Please start posting in the correct section, every one has been moved so far.
  14. It's the Kylesku bridge, pretty far up scotland ie North of Ullapool (which is North East of Inverness)
  15. Been there, done that Although I wish the girlfriends D40 battery's hadn't been dead when I took that or I could've got a better photo.
  16. Ofcourse you need a harness for it! As you say how else will it connect to the ecu.... You should have a harness that plugs into the back of the emanange then has bare wires which are spliced into the original ecu wiring. The field harness asad posted is only needed if you don't want to cut inot the original ecu wiring (instead you plug the field harness in between the standard ecu and wiring harness) and it acts as a bridge so you ca splice into it instead. You'll also want the injector and ignition harnesses so you can get a better tune from the emanage.
  17. Nice, but makes the wilwood kits seeem like a bargain!
  18. I'm really jealous of your workshop. Some nice projects you have on the go now.
  19. Cheers guys, I think the exhaust suits it better now too, just gives it that little bit extra at the back without being too ott.
  20. Thanks mate, got to start trying to prioritise and all that nonsense! Cheers bud, I got the rad second hand fronm Ricky aka sx_turbo not racetech, as above you can get them off ebay for around £170 but they don't come with the slim pacet fan. Cheers mate, sorry I didn't stop to chat but was in a rush to get home, was gonna ask you how it sounded! Oh and the ep80 looks like a monster!
  21. Its the same size as the one that I took off but just straight cut so it looks bigger, its 4 1/2" which is pretty much the norm for the jap exhausts. It does sit slightly downwards but it looks worse in the pictures (especially the second one) than in the metal, but it definately sounds better - really loving it now.
  22. I've got a few more bits and bobs done on the glanza recently, firstly I got my hands on a nice new Defi EGT gauge to finish off my defi collection. I spotted it on ebay, unused and for a decent price so snapped it up; I have it plugged in but without the sensor fitted, as that will be going on when I get a new manifold... The next thing was a new radiator as my standard one was beginning to look a little past its best and was almost falling apart, so I got a nice almost new 40mm aluminium one off Ricky on here and wasted no time getting it on; Its a nice fit and despite the
