  1. There's just as much airflow right behind the grill and its easier to relocate the filter there, but if you want it for looks then try it...
  2. Yes its possible to hit with just those mods, get a decent boost gauge to keep an eye on the boost levels, you don't want to be hitting the fuel cut to often as it can do damage.
  3. Nah they're copies, I don't need to buy one, sorry - I have the original. Good luck with the group buy.
  4. Another nice product Idrees, just to be really nit picky though - cusco don't make these for the glanza, its a carbing panel that you'll have copied or a JAM but they're just copies of the carbing one's too.
  5. Fook me you've been splashing out! Liking the rays and the cage - I'm a bit jealous of that! I'm sure the off-road time will be worth it.
  6. Looking great mate, now get that fmic on to fill that big mouth!
  7. Its probably fuel cut, what kind of boost gauge is it as it may not be completely accurate. Plus the level of fuel cut can vary slightly boost wise from car to car as its triggered by the map sensor voltage. The symptoms you're desribing are fuel cut though so I expect its that.
  8. How cool are these..... Smorvette: Smaudi: Smamborghini: Smorsche: Smorsche Carerra GT: Smerrarri: If only they were real.:surrender:
  9. Well you need someway of increasing the fuelling, a piggy back ecu (like an emanage blue or safc) or complete standalone/replacement ecu would be best. You could just go down the fcd and rrfpr route but it won't give as good a tune. But you definately need that on and a rolling road setup/road tune with wideband air fuel reading before boosting the hybrid.
  10. Its just a hybrid ct9 to be honest, a gt spec hybrid is probably as good if not better.
  11. Direct fit means with the standard mani and downpipe which the td04 will not fit. The only options are a ct9 hybrid and there's a turbo of the 323gtr which fits I think its an IHI but I can't remember off the top of my head, its not much bigger though.
  12. Welcome, first thing to learn - you drive a glanza not "glanzer"!!!!
  13. Did you see last weeks episode? It was a bit of a supercar porn fest.
  14. I think this needs to be changed back as it looks a little silly when someone types "are reg starlet for sale" and it comes up "are reg starlet for sale"....
  15. if it was the same as an HDI it should've fitted nicely like so: The obvious thing to do is get the hacksaw or dremel out and cut what you need to, or try to move the core of the intercooler further back and make up new mounting brackets.
  16. ABS on these can be a proper pain, I actually had the same probelm when I bought mine with the bulb having ben removed. After changing the same sensor twice I gave up then the abs miraculously started working. There is a procedure for resetting the abs as it needs to "learn" again so to speak, disconnect the battery or pull out the abs fuse and leave it for a good 30 mins, then take the car out and use the brakes hard a good few times then turn off and restart the car and hopefully it should now work. PS You don't need to open multiple threads with the same question.
  17. That really does look mint, good luck with the plans.
  18. Signal, what signal?? Its simply a pole that sticks up so you can see where the front of the car is when parking.
  19. It did on mine when I removed my top mount intercooler, caused a missfire when it rained. My solution - duct tape.
  20. You'll find poly engine mount bush kits on ebay, whiteline sell an antilift kit which comes with a poly bush to sort the rear wishbone, Superpro sell poly bushes for the front wishbone, and the rest you can change with the whiteline front arb and panhard rod. The only option at the moment for the rear trailing arm is the trd bushs or the very expensive cusco one's, powerflex are supposedly in developments to make these but I wouldn't hold your breath for them. And no there is no workshop book for the glanza.
  21. Not just a simple case of the throttle sticking slightly? Otherwise since you've cleaned the icv I'd maybe look for over the vacuum hoses to make sure there are no leaks.
  22. Yeah they're a bit annoying I'd say mine is on the limit of getting away with it, I've never been done for it but when I was pulled over for having a rear light out the officer's did mention it but before I even said anything one of them said its ok since its an import, most don't go for that though!
  23. As of today the fines for having an illegal number plate and not wearing a seatbelt have increased from £30 to £60, just a heads up for everyone as I know I've been stung for the number plate before but it will be nastier now if caught....
  24. Lol If I split my spendature on the car into each individual tin of wd40 and nut and bolt I've bought there's no way it would fit on one forum page, plus the total would make me cry.... a lot.
  25. Agreed that front bumper certainly ain't euro.
