  1. Its a good photo, but he didn't take it himself.... so others maybe deserve it more
  2. If you think thats magic you don't know as much as you think you do. Power is a function of torque, the formula for working out the peak power of an engine from its peak torque is to multiply the torque by the rpm at the point its achieved by 5252 (Hp = Torque x RPM/5252), hence where the crossing point of the graphs come from. The actual number 5252 can be derived through a formula where you're converting force, distance and time into hp then force and radius into torque to give a formula for hp in terms of torque. Its all maths which I can't do anymore but did study at uni.
  3. You really want to be fitting a thermostat with the oil cooler too which that kit doesn't have, otherwise your oil temps could run too low.
  4. I don't think so no, as I remember when I changed mine the whiteline bracket is bigger, however you may be able to squash the bush into the oem bracket but it wouldn't be ideal.
  5. Looking good but we need more details! How is the spool of the turbo, does it hold boost nicely and more importantly -get it dyno'd so we can all see how the td12 really go's! Sounds good so far though.
  6. You can still get them new from toyota or there are the copies in various colours on ebay.
  7. Thats the same radiator that the traders sell but much cheaper! There's two versions a 26 and 40mm sometimes they're advertised as autobahn's sometimes golpher (which is the actual make) and sometimes neither but they all seem to be the same. So yeah go for it.
  8. Buy an HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defender) or similar.
  9. You've dug a thread up thats almost a year old now, his cars in pieces and sold on now....
  10. Did the bov come off another glanza? If not the spring could be too stiff. The other option is that the hole you have the bov connected to is too small to let sufficient air through to the bov, so it doesn't open properly.
  11. The C52 (GT) Gearbox has different ratios (in 4th and 5th I think) to the Glanza box, so that's probably how.
  12. It won't fit straight on a glanza if thats what you're wanting to do, it won't fit properly with the glanza headlights or bonnet. If you'd searched you would've found this aswell: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3077
  13. Just seen this game on the gadget show.... http://www.zimm-co.com/PressTheSpaceBar/pr...acebar2000.html Good fun and addictive, lets see those high scores!
  14. I can't say for sure on the rear lower arm bush, its been that long since I removed the bracket that you measure. I assume you're looking here: http://www.priracing.com/section.php/426/1/starlet As I said if you're doing the front lower arm bushes its definately the 34mm one's you want, for the rears you'll have to go measuere your mounting bracket on the car to see what size it is. This one here: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1997_TOYO...AGMQY_4802.html (48652 as it says on pri)
  15. Those sizes really don't make sense? The rear lower arm bushes are the one's you'd change when using a whiteline antilift kit or similar, is that the one you mean? The front lower arm bushes are 34mm for the glanza if you mean that.
  16. Looks good but get an aftermarket exhaust manifold on there or port that one as you won't be doing the 3rd piston any good running near 1 bar with the restriction in the stock mani.
  17. Yeah, I wouldn't bother unless you have 8inch plus wide wheels!
  18. Wow you're very clever then, its a good way to damage your engine.
  19. You probably wouldn't notice much if any difference, I actully went down from a 205 to 195 on a 7 inch wide rim because I thought the tire was too squashed, the 195 is a little mre stretched so is maybe actually better. Plus the 205's are more expensive.
  20. Galliano's been a bit busy recently so I'll sort this out for him..... 21. The td12 is a hybrid ct9. However it is a large one! In testing enzo has said it is not laggy and should make good power, basically its the best hybrid ct9 you'll get...hopefully, as with everyone else I'm eagerly waiting some real results and opinions from people running them.
  22. I agree on the wheels, however the splitter is a livesports one. Its looking good Aidan, I'm not a fan of big kits normally but the back end of yours seems to work really well.
  23. No point doing anything until you fit that boost gauge.
  24. They will be down as an optional extra I would think, so they won't be available new from toyota anymore.
