Yeah well deserved, very nice photo.

Sounds good mate I'm really looking forward to getting one of these and have pretty much everything needed to run one now. Are you still needing the thermostat housing?
-
It could be the turbo seals or valve stem oil seals if its blue smoke. Its easy to check to see if its the turbo, just take of the intercooler pipe off the turbo and check it for oil, if there is a fair bit in there then the turbo is going. I'm not sure how to check the valve stem seals as I'm fearing they may be going on mine....

Yes, aswell as many other toyota engines.

lol! Maybe if you don't want to receive anything this year! :harhar: I never used that random rough cut spacer with the panhard rod and have had mine fitted problem free for a couple of years, just get the front arb swapped and your sorted.

Great idea geo! Don't know if its just mine but some details are out of position in the tables - the stats for the eps are on the wrong line?

Happy birthday mate, better enjoy it now your on a downhill decline into old age.

Cheers mate, I am pretty pleased with it now! Your one of very few to say they don't/didn't like the wheels. I do agree that the kit and wheels seem to work really well together now. Thanks bud! Atleast you've got a good head start with yours as it looks great straight out the box! -
If you just want a cheap one then just get one from halfords or a motor factors, it needs to have the import size small terminals though.

This should really be in your breakers thread, or you could've just pm'd them.... I'll move it to the general section for now until they see it though, since I'm nice.

Very nice mate, super clean.

Cheers guys. Pretty even in the voting still, I think I'm going to put them on this weekend - along with the no. plate which I really don't want to put on! It was on ebay, so I snapped it up very quickly. -
May aswell stick this one in, need to get some try and get some nice photos soon: I have one large enough of it on the computer.

I think I do prefer them on but I'm really not sure, gonna have to try it both ways for a bit and see what I prefer. Thanks again for all the comments. -
They should come pre gapped but its a good idea to check them anyway. For a GT its 0.8 and a Glanza its supposedly 1.1 but people have said they run better at 0.8

Cheers guys:) Poll added now too, I'm sure it will be split 50/50 though, it looks good both ways I think. I also like the fact that with them off there is absolutely no aftermarket exterior mods on the car yet it still looks really good. -

Well even since before buying my Glanza I've known exactly how I've wanted it to look - that being an unashamed copy of Mark's (aka www.glanza.co.uk) K24 Glanza, it was always the one I lusted after before I even bought my Glanza nearly 4 years ago. So anyway the final piece of the puzzle was found a few weeks back in this scruffy looking bumper: I found it on ebay (for a bargain as usual ) and wanted it solely for the splitter, I could've bought a replica a long time ago but I really wanted a genuine oem one since they are made of plastic and won't immediately shatter when confronted with a rabbit! I had to make sure it would fit when I got it (this being the fourth bumper I've had on the car ) and ofcourse try out the panda look again: Finally after an agonising wait with the bumper and splitter away at the bodyshop I picked it up with the splitter having been fitted and neatly smoothed over with a very shiny new layer of paint on it too: Finally after fitting it (in the pissing rain ofcourse) I stepped back and enjoyed the grin enducing new look. One thing I'm still not suire on though is whether these JAM style carbon eyebrows will be going on or not: So I'm finally more than happy with the way the Glanza is looking now, there's still a few niggles to sort out to get it running spot on but hopefully soon I'll be just as happy with the way it runs aswell as the way it looks. -

Thanks again guys (and gals). Yeah think I might have to, they do look really good on but it looks good without them too. I'm not sure how well they'll fit with sticky tape either and I'm such a fussy git that if they're not right I won't be happy but I don't want to stick them on permanently. -

Cheers for the comments guys. They're nice aren't they, they're TSW Razors...... The white one's are genuine Rays Engineering wheels and are silly rare. I've only ever seen one set for sale..... -
I've finally gt my glanza looking the way I've wanted it to since I bought it almost 4 years ago when it looked pretty much like this: The main bit I've been waiting on to finish the exterior is the 98 spec splitter and I finally got a genuine toyota one a few weeks ago then sent it off with the bumper to be fitted and sprayed. I just got it back last night and was going to wait and take some nice scenic photos before showing it off but I think it looks ace just sat on the driveway.... My face is stuck like this:

I would like to but can't afford anything just now, I've spent over a grand in the last week on the car. I've got a couple of rear cusco coilovers with one having just started leaking too! I'll have to make sure its running right for it next year. You're dedicated though I'll give you that!

I'd love to come along on this but as usual the glanza isn't in the best shape for it (slipping clutch illegalish tires and leaking exhaust). They are some awesome roads up that way, I go on holiday with the family north of ullapool every year and will be taking the glanza up in a couple of months. I'm sure you'll have a great time guys, enjoy it and be safe.
