  9. you have £30 cover included with postage i think and then anything on top of that you pay a little extra for.
  10. when you go to post something when you are at the counter they will ask you how much the package is worth, you inturn should then tell them how much it is worth and they will add additional cover if needed, chances are that the guy who bought it from you is trying it on, but then on the other hand if the guages are rattling then they may have been bashed around in the post. the joys of breaking a car mate

  18. ^^^^thats what i meant by if you are really stuck ive used it before and doesnt smell to bad to be honest. another one is salt water
  19. cheap vodka works, only suggest it if you are really stuck should do the trick until you get a heater
  20. i very much doubt it will cost your mum £400 to insure it,does she have her own car?if so i would imagine she will be using her ncb on that car, talking from experience evos are not cheap to insure period. even if you find an insurance company that will let you drive other vehicles, i would imagine that the cover would not got to the extent of an evo, i tried this and failed, once your mum has insured the evo there will more than likely be something in the small print to say that nobody under the age of 25 can drive it. all this seems to be alot of hassle just to be able to drive a 4-5k evo which if you smash it will be money pissed down the pan, and all for the sake of waiting a couple of years. stick with your v id say and save like mad and maybe buy an evo as a project car, by the time you can insure it if you put your mind to it would be a beast and on the road legally. just my 2p though
  21. get a hair dryer on the rad hoses thermostat housing and radiator to thore it out a bit then add some coolant to the rad, then start squeezing the hoses and it will start working its way through.my car did the exact same thing the other day as ive been topping up with water due to a leaky water pump. once you have some coolent in there it will start to defrost the icy water you have in there. once you have done the above start the car and turn it off again as it shoud free up the water pump and move some more coolant round.
  22. instead of posting on here chuck some warm clothes on and get out the garage and finish building your car. that is all
  23. polish it mate, easy enough to do just time consuming.
  24. @ phil your right it doesnt, tried and tested @ tyrone make sure you run the whole length of the cover when sanding otherwise it will not come out smooth just dimpled and once you paint it that will become apparant.
  25. 80 grit flap wheel and your away.
