  14. bugger me you have savaged that lol, umm can you get a pair of mole grips on it?if you can get it nice and tight on it and run a blowtorch over the block where it is threaded into the heat expands the metal and may just do it. Are all the others out.

  17. stick with it man it is the only real way to learn is to get stuck in. long shot but try putting a rubber glove over the end of the spline socket and get some pics up of the suspect bolt you are trying to move as some of us may be able to come up with a way of removing it. @ the starlet gt i think you will find that these cars are one of the easiest engines to work on and not everyone has the $$$$ as you put it to just give it to someone who knows what they are doing.

  20. @ sparky, i thought you were removing the pas? any powersteering fluid should be fine tbh try and get some thats red. as for engine oil, i used el chepo 10-40 synthetic and just gunned mine and never had a problem.oh and with the oil cooler it will need around an extra litre of oil. make sure you have all the lines for the cooler running in the right flow directions before you start.
  21. you are right you only have to do a basic emmission test, what was the reading on the carbon monoxide, it should be under 0.20 i believe high corbon monoxide tends to be too much fuel. the other stuff is really simple

  25. pro-plus sparky, used to work wonders for me when on nights, and used to stay up most of the day to piss round with my car aswell.
