  1. as said above blow torch lump of wood and a lump hammer, take the wheel off to do it and dip the wheel in some water after it has cooled to check for a leak around the rim.however that wheel will not look pretty and will more than likely create some wheel wobble especially if fitted to the front, i would suggest doing the above and putting the wheel on the back of the car
  2. any iidea on the width of your current wheels? 6j 6.5j? personally i hate spec 2's they are crap in the wet and dont wear very good.
  3. glad you got the avcr ok bud, those wheels look sweet, now get it built ;)

  10. i believe they need to be pressed out and back in.
  11. they look to wide imo they stick out to much, but if you like them fit them.
  12. do not laquer it,if you laquer it, after a fe weeks it will start to oxidise underneath the laquer and you will be back at stage 1 and you will have to polish it all over again. if you want to seal it have a google for zoop seal it will last beetween 2 and 3 years before it goes dull and you need to repolish.
  13. if it has been a month tell him where to go, he may have fitted it the day he got it and been running it for a month, now it is broken he wants his money back.if it was damaged when it got to him he should have got in contact with you as soon as possible.
  14. after seeing sparkys mani in the flesh the other day i would go for a racetech mani.the quality is immense and as for looks i want one to put on my wall just to look at lol. if you are going to get an exhaust would it not be cheaper to have one custom made they can add baffles in the box then so it will breath as best as possible without it being loud.
  15. brake cylinders are more than likely shagged.the seals go on them and they will not hold or release the hanbrake properly. pop the drum of and peel back the rubber on the cylinder if it leaks fluid its had it.
  16. good job, bet your glad too have it back on the road again, ENJOY
  17. i was allways under the impression you needed tig to weld alli?am i wrong?hmmmm i will have a go later. as for gas nip down to your local pub and ask them if you can buy a c02 gas bottle off them as they get it for pennys, i paid £20 for a full size c02 bottle, size is 120cm tall x 23 cm diameter, i have had that bottle for well over a year.
  18. clicky have a look on there all the info you could need.put up an intro on there and see whats what.they are pretty helpfull to be fair.i will warn you now that it is higly addictive ha ha.you will end up welding whatever you can get your hands on lol
  19. if i were you buddy i would keep your eye out on the bay for a half tidy mig to learn with.i found it so easy to pick up.some will disagree im sure but with a mig if you cant get on with it you can allways sell it on for pretty much what you paid for it.if you go for a mig get a gas mig as gasless are crap and the wire is extautionate. to practice on i used a meter of angle iron and just cut it into chunks and weld bit on so you get the feel for it and the plus point is if you get into it you can make pretty much anything you want.
  20. top man, sorted me out with an inlet and fuel rail for pennys, good packing skills too cheers man
  21. why go for high power, why not get your ep to around 250ish then start making it light= win. s14a i presume good fun cheap to mod but will not be as quick imo, unless you want to have a crack at the drifting scene. both good fun either way
  22. ^^^ can you read my mind????that is exactly what i am doing at the moment lol.
