  7. I think 'iamledgend' is a prime example, sold his starlet to get a supra then realised it wasn't up to the crack, sold it and bought another starlet! Lol

  9. I think a lot of 5e engines are made up of the 5e bottom end with 4e head...... Could be wrong though
  10. lol, maybe I should have made myself clearer! I don't like every style of rota wheel either but there is a lot of people who for instance love a rays volk wheel and hate a rota grid even though they look exactly the same...... Plus there are a lot more jdm wheels out there that rota haven't copied and just because they are jdm people love them even though they (a vast majority of the time) look shit
  11. I second that! Apart from a couple of styles of jdm wheel the rest I have seen are wank!

They do indeed mate, I think the vf34 is a good option but quite hard to come by
  13. Was just about to say they are meant to be awesome, its a paddle clutch but as it has the 6 'paddles' its acts quite like a standard clutch and yet can still handle a big amount of power

from what I have heard, there is a certain inlet coming out that has been tested and got the same power at 1.1 bar as the standard did with 1.4 bar.....................thats kinda sounds like the sorta thing your after then you wouldnt have to change the engine or change the rev limit which, as adamB said might not actually benifit you anyway plus just running the same power at less boost might not necessarily do you any favours, you have a big turbo on a small engine and they generally dont come alive until they have more pressure going through them so lag might be a problem..............

If I were you, I would get an inlet, uprated valve springs, soild buckets and possibly have a look at the valves/guides aswell I know zisco do a kit but its the best part of £3k I think.........................not sure what you get though!!! Or speak to the guys at TD, they will set you right

It sounds as though you have done the most benificial part, have you up rated the valve springs and buckets? All that's left would really be bigger valves
  22. I have a baileys DV and blue samco pipe that came off my HDI bud, gives a bit of chatter when not boosting and dumps fine when on boost
  23. As said, ideally you need to tap a bit with a hammer and chisel to knock the set ring out of place then it will come off nice and easy I work with the buggers every day! Bit of a bitch if you pop the cv joint so be careful ;) As said, ideally you need to tap a bit with a hammer and chisel to knock the set ring out of place then it will come off nice and easy I work with the buggers every day! 24. I never knew of this panhard rod.............................I wana see Cheers dude, engine needs a tidy up so it shows it off a bit more! I'm thinking wire tuck....................... The skirts are on there way bud, turns out they were sprayed in aerosol so my sprayer had to get it all off and go right back to the base then repair the little niggles, they should all be done and primed ready for a spray now though so you will see them soon enough
