  1. Just need any hints or advice anyone might have with fitting a race tech td04 kit like how to prime the turbo and where vac hoses and oil and water feeds go. Much appreciated, Matt

  3. Haven't updated this for a while so get a bit of a large one now. The fto seats are now in: The ct9 has started smoking quite a bit so I'm getting a HKS or a greddy front mount and then a stainless td04 kit from ricky at race tech. Then onto fuelling hopefully running as near to 200 bhp as I can get to
  4. I should be getting the intercooler this month and hopefully the td04 kit in a couple of months if I could get a hotpipe for a hks as well as the kit that would be great ricky
  5. It'll probably be a greddy or more than likely a hks so I'm wondering if I can get hold of straight and bends of aluminium piping and fab up a rout to the original pipework
  6. Lovely cheers guys race tech it is. How do I go about fitting the front mount to the td04 as the intercooler only fits a ct9
  7. The ct9 is finally blowing smoke so I think it's time to upgrade . Seen TM developments do a mild steel steel and stainless td04 kit and race tech do a stainless td04 kit with a tial vband wastegate both similar prices but I'm not sure which is the better to go with. Also I'm needing a new intercooler, i've got cheap stuff before so I'm getting a blitz, greddy or a hks ct9 intercooler to run before I get the kit. What do I need to do to modify the intercooler to fit a td04. Cheers guys
  8. I didnt, the clutch doesnt always release but that seems to be a master cylinder problem
  9. Ive got an exedy organic clutch got it from monster motorsport and they reckon theyre good to 230 bhp and arent as solid as a paddle
  10. Whiteline rear strut brace is now in and im impressed at the difference its made. Just got the FTO seats to go in now, strip the rear seats and get some harnesses
  11. Heat wrapped my decat to stop some heat, couldnt do the mani as the build quality is shit
  12. Just a quick update. My AEM wideband gauge has arrived just need to "adjust" the boss on the decat. Also I have a whiteline rear strut brace on the way. Next on the list is a pair of 4 point harnesses and remove the back seats
  13. had a boost leak after the mani was fitted as it was built too long and the turbo had to be twisted slightly which made the intercooler connector too short got a new one of those on plus a decat and the wastegate is completely shut, still only boosting .6 or .7 bar should be much higher with the wastegate closed so currently im lost
  14. I got the same, running a zisco manifold and it doesnt boost as much as it did bud
  15. Japspeed decat has been on about 2 weeks nearly sounds good and sorted the exhaust hitting the bumper. Now have an aem wideband gauge on the way. Just need to fit the FTO seats now
  16. Err shorten the boost increased as i shortened it but ive now run out of adjustment as the wastegates shut

After replacing the pcv valve on the rocker cover with a weld on hose connector like the race spec type you can get off various traders but im unsure of a) how to get the pcv out and b)whether i need to remove everything so its just a clean hole and weld the male thread on the hole. any help would be appreciated, it is time the rocker cover was cleaned up ready for hybrid in a few months. matt
  18. sounds remotely like mine i had a clutch done and mine occasionally sticks in first if you sit with the clutch down too long. think mines a master cylinder so maybe have a look if thats leaking anywhere or if it feels like you lose pressure and it "sinks"
  19. wastegate is shut and im now running .6 bar duno how else to get it back to .8

  22. Fixed the boost leak I've had since the manifold was fitted. Just needed a new piece of hose between the hotpipe and to pmount intercooler. I've now come to setting up the actuator and its boosts worse than when i had the leak. I'm running out of adjustment before the wastegate is completely shut. Its running about .4 bar the same as with the boost leak and the wastegate was shut then. Full boost now comes on about 4k which is quite late. So if I adjust the actuator to being completely shut and still not running .8 bar anyone got any ideas what I can. Would a boost controller get me to the boo

  24. Cheers guys loving it at the minute shes running a bit crap but thats all because of the boost leak should have that sorted by the weekend. dont think i can sell her now love red
  25. Cheers guys, just need the time to weld on the lugs to fit the seats and fit the decat. need to get hold of a front mount, hybrid and emanage and for the time being i reckon that'll be it. Possibly work on the handling panhard and a rear strut
