  1. porting the wastegate bigger or restricting the air flow through the filter. but the restricting the airflow is kinda defeating the point. you should see a good gain in power due to the fact that there is better and colder air flow. the difference in intake temps is unbeilevable between this and the efi pipe. you can tell by feeling the intercooler piping. it is so much colder now. you should also see a faster spool up time.
  2. yeah i would have thought maybe you should be ok, every turbo and engine is different though. its worth a try and like i say you can mash a filter relocation kit up and it will cost you pennies. the improvement is clear to see over the efi pipe and thats twice you have called me a jeb now! lol
  3. well we stuck it on...........left it taped up for a couple of hours.........took the tape off and felt if it was sturdy, it was. took the tape off and went inside. went out 30min later and it was on the floor with two chunks out of it and the paint work all chipped. took it to a bodyshop today to have it plastic weilded back together and resprayed. not happy at all, think the temp dropped to low as we did it quite late on or we just didnt use enough bonding
  4. get hks actuator and port the wastegate bourkey, take the turbine housing off and get at it with a dremal. that sould stop the creep, although ive never at any stage with this car experience creep. the old ct9 didnt do it and the new hybrid a built i made the wastegate huge! its worth a try....get the two stock tmic rubber joiners and i little bit of metal pipe to join them and this will bring it to your front bumber. if it creeps its cost you next to nothing to try, if it doesnt your away!
  5. your gonna have to wait a little longer im afraid..............lol we fucked up
  6. pics of nurspec fitted and a recent engine pic just gotta get it on the dyno now and see if its at the 200bhp mark
  7. :D :D Had a bit of a accident with the spoiler
  8. just had a little giggle there. a whales penis is called a dork so i am led to beleive. hope that helps......... anyway they look good, the theory for them working well is there, the same theory is used in turbo compressor and turbine housing. ie, turbine housing starts wide and then as it goes around the snail it becomes narrower increasing the velocity of the air to the shaft blades. looks a good buy
  9. like it a lot mate. top work, keep it up
  10. yeah definatly mate. this weather takes the piss though but another notts meet would be good.
  11. a boost pipe popping off sounds much worse than it is when it happens! i did it once on full boost and the fmic piping to the throttle body poped off and twat'ed the underside of the bonnet. properly filled my pants with cake.
  12. no im guessing they was made for the turbo starlets just the older version of the ep82 i believe. im sure i heard that the older ones have 2 bolts on the rear strut
  13. well i beleive that the brace fits direct on the older ep82s and it 100% fits direct on an n/a, due to them only having 2 bolts on the rear strut. it is a ball ache to get to fit as where you need to drill the other holes is on the welds,
  14. speak to the trader and demand your missing parts. you will struggle just finding a wastgate arm
  15. sell it mate and buy another that fits direct. i managed to get my greddy one to fit on my glanza but it took fucking ages and lots of hassle drilling holes. if i was in the same situation again i would sell and buy a direct fit.
  16. who did you buy it off? was it a trader or second hand? the c clip is no issue as you can easily use any thing you can find to clip on. i use an r clip off a remote control car. much easier too.
  17. a lots changed since i last saw it in the flesh, its looking good mate. sure i will see it again when another midlands meet pops up.
  18. yeah still on the stock mounts as ive not had chance to fit them yet, got an engine torque damper on there already so i cant see the mounts causing to much of a problem. the clutch has really bedded in now and ive got used to it so it feels like a stock clutch again. think the nurspec may go up for sale as it is too loud for me and not what i want. if anyone is interested drop me a pm, it is now a direct fit for the glanza as ive had ithe front section custom done.
  19. blitz nur spec on today, no pics yet but will get some tommorow. seems to have unleased a good chunk of power but as i feared its really really loud. not really what i wanted but i guess i can cope for a while
  20. yeah i will let you know. if im free and the cars finished off then i will be up for it...........if you want to change the location again even closer to notts that would be cool too. lol
  21. very tempted, when do we need to know for definate?
  22. im sure liam can, but he was at work so i did it on his behalf, and plus i paid for it via my paypal account. my point is really though that as a trading company people shouldnt have to pester and harrass to get a refund. i understand that tc trading may be busy but it did feel like this was being ignored. if the thread with lots of questions about refunds and the pms were honestly missed then fair enough.
