  1. good stuff what filter you got?
  2. glad people are liking my handy work took me foooooooking ages to figure out how to do the stencils and secure them down!
  3. that i cant help you mate, as it was like that when it came. the only thing i can think is that the reverse lights are wired to the reverse on the gear stick (guessing at that, but it may be as its gotta know when to put reverse light on some how) . if you was to take this and put it to a switch from halfords or something. this is guess work from me so dont take it as writen mate but it may be worth a look. its not an ideal solution. as people dont know when your reversing. ie in car parks waiting to reverse out and no one seems to let you (because they cant see your trying to reverse!) and
  4. rear fog = needed reverse lights = not needed my bro does mots you dont test reverse lights in mot
  5. mine has had the reverse lights disconected and re routed to a switch on the dash. then had the bulbs switched to red. this seems to be what has been done to get it through mot. but the down side is i have no reverse light. lol.
  6. the rattling one doesnt bother me too much, its starnge as my clutch seems to be slipping less now. although the revs still seem to be flying up on boost without really accelarating fast. it a big decision to buy. if i put all my money into fixing the clutch and that isnt the problem then im fucked. lol. im thinking if a get the orc309, change the clutch master cylinder and also the crank oil seal. then i should never have to touch the clutch again. anyone got any info on the crank oil seal. im not sure what it is really or where it is and what a leaking one can cause?
  7. thats right ragger. lol. no really i have been pulling away at about 1200. im not a big fast launch kinda guy, and im not really trying to pull off fast. its just like out of junctions when you need to be a little sharpish. maybe im still driving it like the n/a and thinking i have to put the power down to much. maybe i am just being a little over enthusiastic.
  8. good stuff phil. where did you get the carpet from mate? i need some for my home made stelf shelf im creating. is the stuff off ebay?
  9. dont worry ryno i was getting tyres and still am, anyway the fuldas are a good tyre and they are still pretty much new. just this clutch issue has fucked up my money plans. didnt plan on needing a new clutch yet.
  10. i usually do most of the work. we are a tag team, but my bro is good with paint so i leave that to him (its not liam by the way its my other bro) im out doing stuff to my car every weekend without fail. im obsessed.
  11. no shelly. im gonna be geting a new clutch soon though
  12. lol yeah. i mean im not trying to wheels spin or even pull off fast. i think the poo suspension is causing the front end to lift too much and it could also be the tyres. but cant afford to change them yet. would poor suspension cause wheel spin/ hop
  13. well think im gonna buy an OS Giken ORC309 Single Plate Clutch. im choosing this one as it also comes with a lightened flywheel, which is something i wanted for improving response. any one using one? what peoples opinions on using this clutch on a daily driver?
  14. i really dont think im being heavy footed though. what sort of revs would put me in the heavy footed class?
  15. its gotta be a glanza i think. did they ever make an auto n/a? also there looks to be no side repeaters. either way..........
  16. 100% right ryno. can we change the sub title from "why ice blue" to just WHY???
  17. thanks, the rocker has been done in metalic gun metal grey. i think im gonna do in army camo at some point though. i will try and get some bateries for my camara. the amber lenses are 100% staying. im also doing the fogs amber and converting them to running lights. just not got around to it this weekend. my car has developed a strange problem. think that its clutch related so i think im gonna go for an orc309 clutch kit. thats when i can diagnose if its definatly clutch. revs fly up between 3000 and 4500 very quickly then settle after, its like the clutch has been dipped. its some thing i w
  18. its seems to be doing it with very little gas though. tyres are fulda, which i will be changing for f1s when i get the cash. hopfully its down to poor suspention or heavy right foot!
  19. either that or track down who sold it him and give them a slap for passing on a fine bit of jdm engineering to someone who has an obssesion for blue lights and dragons. woo woo, thats the sound of the police!
  20. right first things first i dont drive like a nob my glanza seems to wheels spin far too much (not sure if its hop) i mean even on slow pull offs it wants to spin. and as soon as i put the power down, say getting out of busy junctions it becomes a little annoying when all a get it major spin. plus people must think im doing it on purpose ;) so what i need to know is what could be causing it. is it just a poor suspension set up. 30mm springs on standard shocks. or is there a problem somewhere, clutch, flywheel??? if there was an issue would there be any noticable signs elswhere when driving
  21. no ryno.............. its ICEBLUE. ;) i think its a wind up. let me re-phrase that........god please let it be a wind up.
  22. well, been busy fiddleing with the glanza again. turbo timer is now in i also forced my brother to do my calipers ready for my 3g disks, mintex pad, braided lines and cusco bmcs which are currently being ordered. cans of fosters are always in my photos, its like wheres wally. lol. also have my boost gauge in, painted my rocker cover and fitted my front strut brace, and my hks actuater running at 0.8 bar. but my camera died so have no pics. next after the brakes are coilovers, which i want asap as my car is wheelspining and hopping like mad on the current suspension. hopfully d2s, anti
