HELP - GReddy/Grex oil filter relocator kit rubber o-rings
Nanglebadger replied to Nanglebadger's topic in Engines
@Rob - thanks for that dude, I will try to remember to drop u a PM! Gents - thanks for the guidance there. Those multipacks are on ebay too, I just wasnt sure about ordering anything given the various kits in work didnt offer up a solution. Silicone - or sump sealer - may be a viable option i guess, thanks Jezza! Phil. -
Folks of UKSO, I am in need of some assistance. A couple of years back I bought a GReddy/Grex oil filter relocation kit from SiCaln. Sadly, it is missing one of the rubber o-rings from the end of one of the pipe sections. I have taken the remaining o-ring in to the engineering department in work, who measured it with a calibrated vernier. 4 different multi packs of various sizes were checked for matches and in the end we ordered up what we thought was a close as humanly possible to purchase. sadly however, upon test fitting the new o-rings this past weekend, the closest replacement

@Vissio - that was probably her's yes, we've talked her into keeping the SR decals on for now, so it likely was her. Thanks for the kinds words gents, 2007 would have been the last time you saw her in the metal Simon, i think? Progress?? Progress is that on sunday I took the drivers seat out to assess the damage to the sub frame...the fucker is snapped in two separate places. Right now the piece behind the eyebolt into the tranny tunnel is stuck as I cant budge the eye bolt, not sure if we ended up drilling that one out and putting a nut on it or not, my memory fails me, but until

super tidy as always B!!!!! new bumper is a nice subtle, but very well thought out mod! good call! Phil. -
lol think you're looking at pics from 2005 there bud. Ducktail spoiler and a Glanza spoiler were fitted some time back. Page 87 is probably right dude, since I moved it down home there havent been any "overall" pics, no one wants to see mismatched beat up wheels lol. Phil.

BUMP! 3 point back up for sale. Please note this came out of a Quad-light and as and such doesn't fit Mk1 or early Mk2 GT floor pans. Brace is with me and can be collected from Ballyclare area of NI to save on postage, £100 collected, £120 posted. Phil.

keeping at it bud, but the subframe has fucked me off. Not as bad as it once would have when it was a daily, but its still irritating as it would be a straight MOT failure, and rightly so. Greenmachine has offered to weld it back together for me if I can get the fucker out lol! Phil.

lol i know I know, need to get the finger out for some updated pics. Got the mats hoovered and fitted yesterday, they will be going to Chris or Joel for some wet vaccing and should then look pretty fresh. Drivers one has seen better days, as you would expect for mats of this age, so I'll be keeping an eye out for a matching drivers mat in better condition. Update Got the drivers side rear arch cleaned out yesterday, took fecking ages and the shit that came out of it was unreal. On the plus side, the KYB Excel shock looks to be dry, so should be good for putting a Tein spring onto. That

Update An awesome man in a Lime Green Leon just droped off a large parcel at the gates of my work, said some sexy things about Starlet parts, and then departed in a haze of EP-goodness. I have been left feeling satisfied, gratified, and in the possession of some SEXY ASS OEM MATS! pics on the old #GaragEP this evening! Phil.

in all honesty I am struggling to see what real benefit this would have for members viewing the site. if someone can point out how it would be beneficial then fair enough, but if not, then its just more work for Matt to do at home some evening to make it happen for no one to then use it. I know TGTT have it, but what does it really tell you? Sure its a novel stat, but would be worth matt's time to implement is what i'm getting at. all counter arguments are very welcome. Phil.

so true! I went over with work twice in 2012, those guys take absolutely no shit and no prisoners. The finger print machine broke down as soon as I touched it and they had to reboot the PC...talk about a twitchy bumhole for 10 minutes! that dude did not want to make small talk!!!! Phil.
-
just had mine redone, they advise 10 weeks lead time to account for delays, mine only took about 2 weeks though. I'd get it done ASAP dude. Phil.

somehow I managed to go full retard and totally missed the front wing modifications until this point. this resulted in my almost-choking on my brown-toast and sausage sandwich with red sauce, as I stared at the monitor with what can accurately be described as a full blown semi. This project is just so mean. Love the direction it has gone! Phil.

great to see u in another EP dude!!!! some fine progress and restoration going on so quickly as well! Keep it up! Phil.
