mega. PRAT! i only went back to page 50 where u posted a pic of your scissors/hammer set! didnt think it would be before that! lol thats roughly where i had mocked mine up, although the curvature of the plastic was meaning that the centre of the sticky pad wasn't making contact with the plastic. yours is quite far back though, probably doesnt look it in that pic as u have the seat waaaaaaaaaaay back, but i reckon thats maybe close to where i was seeing full pad - plastic contact. spot on dude thanks for the pic! that's where she'll be going! Phil.

do halfords stock that one mate? i checked out your thread, you dont actually have a pic of yours fitted in there bro! Phil.
-
well, maybe just sprayed to match then. I'll have to have a look in Halfords for a suitable anthracite. the hammer is next up bud, I mocked it up to a few places on Friday but didnt fit it because I couldnt decide on where to put it!!!! So then i checked out Marc's and Trisk's, and they're in two different locations. To put it below the gear knob as Marc has done wont work as its slightly curved there in the 91, so had to move it back until it was half obscured by the drivers seat....which is probably a safer location in terms of reaching it though...lol...just need to mock it up to a few

was funny dude, was out cleaning and fitting the leads and the Mrs came out for a gander, opens it up, comments on how she prefers it with the front door cards refitted, then commented she'd forgotten how loud it was, then says "we'll have to see about getting it back on the road once the wedding is over"...THAT'S MY GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah baby!! spent some time with 3 MINT Glanzas today and definitely made me want her back on the road for such convoys! Phil.

Update Now rocking some red Ultra spark plug leads and king lead. gave them a clean with some tar remover before hand so they're nice and shiny. shortened the BOV vacuum pipe and the PCV to catch can pipe, bit tidier now. also replaced about 6 small jubilee clips for newer shiny ones. next up is mounting the rescueman once i settle on a location. started it up too, oil weep is still there, not sure where its coming from if its above the sump lip or not, didnt look like the filter today. needs further investigation i think. but that'll keep while i tinker at shizzle.

i have nothing against Rotas, if i needed a set I'd run them, but if you're not in a massive hurry, it's worth just bidding a little time and seeing what bargains pop up. I picked my Rays up for £170, and an identical set went on ebay recently for ~ £50. there are often bargains to be had, so it can pay off to snoop around a bit. Phil.

anything you need dude just post it up, and I'm sure if one of the NI chaps has the part(s) sitting around they'll be only too happy to help! just shout dude! Phil.
