i think the rule of thumb is that, if they aren't fitted from factory (and therefore self cleaning/levelling) then yes, they wont pass MOT. Phil.

if u look WAAAAAYYYY back through my build thread u will see the process that Pandamonium and I used to make mine. basically, sound deadening, big bit of MDF with a hole in it in the right place for the sub and smaller holes for the amp wires, fibre glassed down, smaller pieces to fill the sides, then PVA'd Autoleads Audio Carpet on top of the wood, and job done.
