  1. Bit of a change of plan, sale fell through with ye blitz decat, does anyone rate zisco ones for Performance and lifetime? Also would a stainless or mild be better?
  2. Yeah good idea as long as it don't creep up more,, shouldn't need an fpr at .8 bar though you'll just make it run rich if u raise it, apparently the Ecu can handle the fuelling for boost below the fuel cut level
  3. As long as your boost is below fuel cut levels your Ecu should be able to fuel it fine for now.
  4. Ah fair enough, yeah I'm gonna go for a normal decat and then an ew to sort my boost creep and for the noise

  6. h right, it seems my decision is made then, although, out of them 2? what would you choose if anything was considered mate? Also, does the blitz have a second bung for a wideband?
  7. I know my mates got a nightpager and on boost it sounds amazing, he said it blows on idle like they all do :/ I think my best option is get the blitz then and go external wastegate manifold. Out of interest, does anyone know if you can still buy hybrids new?
  8. Thats the thing you see, i'm extremely picky and it would really irritate me if the blow was quite noticable? I like a nice exhaust note lol. I'm still thinking this deep down, and then probably go for an external wastegate mani in a few months as I shouldupgrade the mani before hitting 1 bar anyway, and it will cure my boost creep issue? Does anyone know if the Blitz decats are good and if they're braced?
  9. Basically that mate yeah, I dunno if anyone would but you can never be too careful, its just what I was told before because you never know who looks on here, didn't mean to sound a dick lol.
  10. I'm having a bit of a dilemna at the moment, just wondering if I should go for a Blitz decat pipe or get a nightpager decat screamer. My two main concerns are the fact the Nightpager isn't braced(I think the Blitz is) and how would this fare with cracking manifolds? Secondly is the fact they are known to blow a little on idle, is this a big problem(both for performance and in terms of irritance) and is there a way to stop this at all? Cheers

Hmm Ive not heard of that, I know with the toyosport having the longer pipe route it can increase spool times but it shouldn't lower your boost level or even tail off in high revs, mine did the latter when I had a standard actuator as it was old and weak, I would suspect a boost leak or even weak actuator but as you fitted the fmic and it only does it since fitting I'd probably guess at boost leak tbh I'd say it
  14. You tried flushing it out with a hose pipe at all? As in take thermostat off and flush through there and also through the bottom hose?
  15. It's a bit of a pain when you first fit an fmic, I blew a boost hose off on my first test drive out after fitting lol
  16. Ah I see that didnt happen on my glanza. As for the leak mate, just remove the studs(they unscrew with mole grips) and put bolts in, not overly tight thoug as you dont wanna strip the thread in the turbo
  17. Ah I see, so do these perform any better than a standard decat pipe?
  18. Was the fan acting up before fitting the FMIC? As for the boost leak do you mean where the cooler bolts to it? MAybe you need a new gasket I would assume, or cut your own form gasket paper or even some high temp silicone etc would work?
  19. Can I ask why the wastegate pipe seperates on this design of decat?
  20. Post a pic mate, you probably will need some form of adaptor but you could block the hole up until you get one

  22. Looks amazing, as for the management, I read a post from you saying that plug n play is the way forward on Ct9's, have you changed your mind?
