  1. I've got some spax 40mm ones? Done 7k max
  2. I've just started the car from cold, the heater was set to max heat, I put the blower to auto and it seemed full mid speed, I put the temp to cold, the motor went to low for a second then to max it sounded like, so there is some alteration when it's on auto is this right?
  3. I won't be using the car in this weather but I'll get in it and have a mess about, any ideas where the temp sensor is located?
  4. Snowing like mad here on yorks :/
  5. Mine doesn't seem to do this, granted ive only tried it on the hottest temp(is that why) but all it seems to do is maintain the fan speed at mid :/
  6. Right, I've got a camber gauge and would like to know if theres an accurate method to calibrate 0? I've put it up to walls in my house etc but they all differ lol :/ Cheers
  7. My 98 Glanza has the climate control heater controls, now whenever I put the fan speed to auto it always seems to be at mid speed, surely that isn't auto? Any idea what's wrong?

  13. Just a bit of feedback for Jerrick and the product as a whole! Firstly, the coilovers themselves, upon opening up they were well packaged, and looked of very high quality and couldn't wait to get them fitted, I decided to spend my day off fitting them along with some other bits, it was only then I realised how knackeredy old shocks were, I emailed Jerrick a couple of times during fitting and he was extremely quick to respond. The only problem I encountered when fitting was the bracket for the brake line needed some slight persuasion to sit correctly, but this is me being picky as iiirc the manual did state brackets weren't part of the kit. The information and instructions provided with the coilOvers was extensive and helpful, the only criticism I have is that it stated the coilovers are set at 13 from soft as standard whereas mine were at 24 from soft, this made a pleasant surprise however when I realised, as even at this setting they are comfortable to say the least, I haven't even tried any softer as yet. Upon driving with the coils I was extremely impressed, everything was improved and they are such an upgrade over shocks and springs, with...in my opinion, an I Provement in ride comfort, even at the aforementioned stiffness setting. As for the service, Jerrick is an exceptionally helpful guy, I was unaware of the discount offered, but emailed Jerrick to see what current offers were available, to which he made me aware of this deal, and was more than happy to answer any query I had, even now he is assisting me with setting up and such and is very quick to respond, and patient(I am an awkward cunt at times...most of the time lol) I was debating these coilOvers which has made my bank balance quite low or to go for some kyb shocks and stick to my spax springs, I am however extremely satisfied with the choice I made. Thanks again jerrick

    Weak handbrake

Flaminsam, yeah my mechanic said its touching the stops correctly to Adjust itself? And he said not to adjust via the cabin like you said as it won't cure the problem? Unless of course my cable is stretched because it is touching the stops it just ain't holding well?

    Weak handbrake

I've noticed sometimes my handbrake doesn't hold, especially on steep hills, or takes a fair amount of clicks to get it to hold. I had a mechanic have a quick look and he said from the calipers it looks fine, they come to rest on the stops so are adjusting correctly and they pull on correctly, yet it doesn't hold for me, I asked if I should tighten it at the lever and all 3 at the garage said no it would make things worse, so what is the problem? Cheers
  16. Cool cheers for the help man, just needa find some inner tube lol
  17. Cool cheers mate I'll see how I go with that, where did you place ye inner tube? Just over the threads or over the locking collars as well?
  18. That looks pretty good height wise mate, hard to tell on the different shape though lol Was that 25mm in between the bottom of the lower spring seat locking ring to the top of the height adjust locking ring Basically 25mm of thread left?
  19. Ah cool, what ride height did that give approx mate? Pic would be great if you have one? And ah yeah people have suggestested duct tape, cling film over grease, meister recommended white lithium spray grease but your idea looks great, now to find an inner tube lol.
  20. Right, the manual for my meister r's says they are sent set at minimum height, and should be raised to max before fitting, and then adjusted once one, now mine dont look as though they are set as low as poss as theres a good inch of thread before all the collars meet. Anyway I'm sure people have said they've installed them at the height they come at and left them there, but what do people recommend is best? Cheers
  21. Cool any idea about replacement dampers?
  22. I can't get hold of sr specials unfortunately I've been looking Will check that out Amjad, I'm wanting something not too bouncy basically
  23. Anyone give me some opinions of excel gs on lowered springs?
  24. When I looked at the gasket before it looked fine but what am I looking for? Have ordered a braided one anyway as its gonna be handy in future
