  1. Cool cheers mate I'll see how I go with that, where did you place ye inner tube? Just over the threads or over the locking collars as well?
  2. That looks pretty good height wise mate, hard to tell on the different shape though lol Was that 25mm in between the bottom of the lower spring seat locking ring to the top of the height adjust locking ring Basically 25mm of thread left?
  3. Ah cool, what ride height did that give approx mate? Pic would be great if you have one? And ah yeah people have suggestested duct tape, cling film over grease, meister recommended white lithium spray grease but your idea looks great, now to find an inner tube lol.
  4. Right, the manual for my meister r's says they are sent set at minimum height, and should be raised to max before fitting, and then adjusted once one, now mine dont look as though they are set as low as poss as theres a good inch of thread before all the collars meet. Anyway I'm sure people have said they've installed them at the height they come at and left them there, but what do people recommend is best? Cheers
  5. I can't get hold of sr specials unfortunately I've been looking Will check that out Amjad, I'm wanting something not too bouncy basically
  6. Anyone give me some opinions of excel gs on lowered springs?
  7. When I looked at the gasket before it looked fine but what am I looking for? Have ordered a braided one anyway as its gonna be handy in future
  8. Is it possible to source replacement dampers for these in case they go pop? Also will a set from an 82 fit a 91 Glanza? Cheers
  9. Ah I see, mine seemed to just have a small amount collected on the bottom of the turbo just to the right of that flange, so I assume that will just be the gasket? If that's the case I'll replace that and look to get a braided part on payday
  10. Was yours clearly evident that it was broken if you climbed under the car and took a look?
  11. Ah cool, if mines broken I'll go for that, if not I'll get one before I get a new Mani :y:
  12. Hmm is it easy to see that when on or does it need to come off? I take it that's the metal pipe with the branch off it that broke? Will check mine when I'm off work but I checked the oil level and was fine yesterday, and there wasn't much oil on the bottom of the turbo I've ordered the rubber pipe, and gaskets for the metal pipe so I'll see if I need the pipe as well :/
  13. Looking under the car today I noticed on the botto Of the turbo there was a little oil, I assume this is leaking from the oil return?( the bit which has two bolts and bolts to the bottom of the turbo?) as I recently had the turbo off to fit a ported mani. I didn't change the gasket as it looked fine, but I assume this will need changing? Which is a bit of an awkward job bending the pipe down of is there an easier way to remove it for the job? Cheers
  14. Pm me the best price posted on em mate do the indicators self cancel with it fitted? Also have the coillies deffo gone?
  15. Will the wheel and boss fit a Glanza, pm me
  16. Interested in the coillies what mileage is on em?
  17. Sure I posted in this, are the coilovers for sale mate, extremely interested and can collect?
  18. Mines only lowered 40mm and is quite bouncy as you say, I had et40 wheels spaced to et35 and got some rubbing, fitted the panhard and it took most of the rubbing off but had to remove the spacers, I think a stiff suspension setup and a panhard is best for wide wheels, panhard should be added anyway as who wants wheels out of line lol?
  19. Hmm I don't mate, maybe worth ringing Toyota and describing it, two of my clips were difficult I had to spend about 5 mins on each one lol
  20. If you can, hold the outer bit with your fingers, if not something like a sharp knife point to grip it but this will mark the clips, depends if you're as picky as me lol... then once youve got the outer bit secure turn the inner bit with the screwdriver but dont put much downwards pressure on, they're tricky but the centre bit should eventually unscrew, then just lever and pull the whole clip out :y:
