If its Thatchum ALL wires will be black. A minimum of 2 immobilising circuits must be used. One should cut fuel other should cut engine spark or if not accessible the engine starter motor. All wires should be soldered! (Very important) All wires should be run to there locations using safe routes and not rubbing on exposed metal and secured in place. All wires should be insulated using heat shrink where possible or insulation tape and all exposed wire covered completely so they are no longer exposed. There are several earths from the control unit and each should be connected to the body in

Just go to an auto electrician they will charge you an hours labour to check the alarm and write you a receipt stating it's been checked and confirming it's a Thatcham approved alarm fitted to the correct specification. Just check with your insurance company if they will accept the receipt as proof as you don't have the certificate, if I was you I wouldn't mention you've fitted it yourself as that might open a can of worms I needed to attend training to become thatchum certified By Gemini to fit there Thatchum Alarms. So a assume it would be the same for TOAD.

Or just buy the 608 rollerskate bearings and add a few washers which is what was in the kit I made up.

Toyota factory OEM LSD does not fit a 6 speed box. Any aftermarket 8 bolt crown wheel LSD will fit that fits a Glanza/GT so A TRD/CUSCO/KAZZ/QUAIFE. Make sure it's the 8 BOLT crown wheel. The 6 bolt one is for the NA C series box.

All standard 4e/5e rods have the pilot hole. Forged rods have notches in the sides to do the same job. By spraying oil on the under crown of the piston and feeding the little ends. The big ends are fed from the mains via drillings.
-
The rod journals also receive oil pressure colin.
-
Theres a hole in the rod colin. Like a jet hole it fires at the little ends its not direct fed. If you look at a standard rod little end facing you you will see a small pilot hole in the big end as if your looking straight into the pilot, that hole feeds the little end and cools the piston crown from the underside. Its not splash fed.

Look on the third picture posted on the first post. See the main journals? See the holes? Do you think that toyota put them there to save weight? Speed holes maybe. I'm sure you've never done engineering at all.....ever. think about it 8200rpm spash fed. Yeah that would hold up or maybe the crank would be spinning that fast oil wouldn't have a chance to spash on the journals and mains. Just like a washing machine spin dry's your cloths to a nice damp instead of a dripping mess. Go read a book.

Sorry guys. I've not been on here for a while so some may not know me. Colin certainly does. Mate you've been fed/feeding missleading information there. The big ends and main receive oil pressure from the oil pump. The tolerance "gap" is there for the oil to stop the two surfaces touching (the bearing and the journal) if the oil pressure wasn't there the bearing would wear away in a matter of minutes let alone miles. You need to get yourself the facts right before you tell others the wrong information. It works the same on turbos the shaft sits on oil and stops the two surfaces touching

Starlet coilovers on to a yaris?? 98 plate
lukEp replied to yaristurbo's topic in Chassis & Suspension
No -
I'm sure these have the same suspension as the yaris as well. I'm sure the coilovers are interchangeable. Plus the supercharge off a yaris will bolt on to.
-
Just unplug it nick. It won't make any difference.

It's a rad cap cover asad, it just sticks to your original rad cap.

Managed to fit the handbrake I gave you then. Looking good lee, still wish I'd have kept it. Expecting to get caught short as well? -
That is a converter to make manual windows to electric window, the motor is just not in the door anymore.
